“The food was good and service was friendly. I needed to sit outside because I had my dog with me. They handed me a menu and I went outside. I didn't realize they handled it like a take-out order, so I sat and waited awhile then went in to find out about ordering food. I had to go back inside to get my food and drink. I wish they had told me how they handle outdoor service so I wasn't just sitting waiting for no reason.
They employees all seemed happy and friendly with the locals. It was a busy place! I'd go back 😊”

Not cool, we waited in the parking lot til a spot opened only to be turned away 45 minutes before closing. Shame”

“A very good selection of hard ice cream flavors, soft serve, frappes, sundaes and more. The service was a bit slow the evening we we were there but what's the big hurry when you go out for ice cream? There are picnic tables and benches where you can sit to enjoy your treats near the river. There is some traffic noise but it's still a nice spot. If you like soft serve, I recommend the maple/ black raspberry twist, if they have it. The small is quite substantial!”

“We found this diner by chance, now this is our favorite diner! Now, we go out off our way to eat there, it is well worth it. All the waitresses are busy, but they are very friendly and helpful giving us advice of places to visit. There are few diners to pick from. The food is very tasty and they have a good selection. We can't wait to go back to Vermont.”

“Chicken Carlo was good. Large portions. Came with fries and half of a fried chicken. Chicken was delicious and juicy but the fries were overcooked. My wife had spinach and black bean lasagna it was overcooked and dry out crispy and not tasty. Should have sent it back but it was long in waiting to be served. Portions was small.”

The breakfast in the more was perfect for post wedding breakfast including the gluten free/dairy free options! Pictures do not do this hotel justice for how cute and comfortable it is. 10/10 Would go back!”

Most of all the customer service and how I was treated. They were the nicest women I have ever met. It was my birthday and they went over and beyond to make me feel special. “Beautiful historic mansion that is well maintained and has great staff. We stayed in the non-mansion portion of the inn and the rooms were spacious, clean, and very quiet. Smart TV made it very easy to temporarily log into streaming services. There are some pastry/muffin style breakfast items available as well as coffee in the lobby. The staff historian gave us an amazing tour of the underground tunnels beneath the mansion, which include a very unique and still working telescope. As with every old building anywhere, there are some dust and cobwebs occasionally in high corners, but it is by no means dirty. Check in/out process is fantastically streamlined. We can’t wait to return and try out one of the mansion rooms”

“I was served cold food I had to have them make my toasted steak and cheese bomb with provolone cheese add mayo pickles and jalapeno again because they didn't put the peppers and and mushrooms that come with the bomb and they dropped hot pizza on my lap and they they didn't put mayo or toast it the second time by the time the kids pizza came out for me to feed the I couldn't eat my food I was being rushed they couldn't give the grandchildren there ice cream or drink didn't fill my water and anyone's drink at the table sons onion rings cold and son girlfriend sub was cold not to happy with service went in on a Friday 4 weeks back place was packed and had better food and service and the children didn't get there ice cream or drink”
