We came for a bachelorette dinner before the weekend kicked off. Everything was delicious and so fresh. The staff were so accommodating and provided great service. Definitely check this place out!

My fish and chips were just ok. Fries were not fresh and crisp like they should be.
The eggplant parm was also nothing special.
Shame on me for not trying one of the many specials the waitress described.

Visited Murdock's about two weeks ago. We've ate diner there on two previous trips to Vermont. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The food was rather mediocre, and I realized after we left some things were missing from our entrees. I had the salmon sandwich and subbed 'house' made slaw for fries. The slaw was awful with all whitish cabbage and a few stray pieces of shredded carrot in a very runny dressing that did not taste housemade. The salmon was a slab on a roll with a piece of lettuce and an anemic tomato. The overall taste was bland, and it turns out the sandwich was supposed to also have onions and chipotle mayo. I would have topped the sandwich with the slaw, if it had tasted good, for some flavor. My husband had the fish and chips which he said it was bland. The cheddar mashed potatoes were good, but it turns out the vegetable of the day was missing from his entree.
The kitchen can do better: make sure the food comes with all the accompaniments on the menu, make a better slaw, and find tasty substitutions to offer customers when tomatoes are not in season.

VERY GOOD!.....have enjoyed this restaurant several times over the last several years.....we are indeed blessed to have them in our region.

Very nice little restaurant. Very limited hours. Limited menu, but still plenty of good stuff.Call ahead. They are small and can fill up.Chocolate mousse was amazing. Save room for dessert.

The manager greeted us at the door and took us to our tables, told us all the specials and shared conversation with us about where we were coming and going made us feel very comfortable, and then the waitress came over and was phenomenal, taking care of us the food was so worth going it was our third restaurant of the night and this was the only one that really took care of us even though they were busy thank you so much for your time.

We were looking for a casual dinner and Murdocks on the Green fit the bill. To our surprise Murdocks was sponsoring music on the Village Green the Wednesday night we to came for dinner. We were given a seat on its front porch and not only had a solid meal (beet salad with shrimp and eggplant parmesan), but listened to some great music. The Green was packed with locals sitting on their lawn chairs and it was a treat to be part of the festivities. Wait staff and management were knowledgeable and friendly. A great find with tasty homemade food.

Laura was behind the bar. She was funny, professional and charming. Food was very good. I had the steak tips with fries and Cole slaw. The restaurant is clean and charming.Second review after the first above:7/8 another visit and Laura is totally awesome. Great food and vibe…..I had the pressed chicken and a side of risotto
