This is a great spot to stop for a sweet treat! We had the apple crisp, Boston cream pie, and cinnamon rolls during our stay in Vermont. All desserts are homemade & delicious. Will be back :)
The pie here is not just a pie.The apple pie, specifically, is a euphoric experience. I've never had such a tasty pie. I got a slice at night, had a bite, and decided I couldn't leave without picking up a whole pie for the ride home. It's a little on the pricey side ($32 I believe), but if you think about it, a sub-par pie from Wegmans costs $15, and will not bring you nowhere near the amount of joy you will get from eating a pie from Vermont Apple Pies. Trust me....
Very wide selection, everything from lasagna and pizzas to cookie pies. The cinnamon rolls were phenomenal, 5/5. The apple pie was a mixed bag--delicious top crust and filling, but the bottom crust was very undercooked, so 3/5. Averages out to a 4/5.Expensive but that's par for the course in a vacation town. Worth a stop if you're staying in Ludlow. I'm looking forward to returning and trying more options.
