About Alder Bakery & Eatery

Alder Bakery & Eatery offers a great food experience and is a lovely breakfast spot. The cafe is quaint and amazing, with friendly and kind staff who provide great service. Visitors have praised the quality of the food and the flavors of the coffee.

Sandwiches are described as great, and the breakfast sandwich, with its warm, flakey, buttery biscuit and real scrambled eggs, is a highlight. Omelettes, like the cheddar omelette with mushrooms and tomato, are amazing, and the combination with a fresh mixed-green salad and lemon vinaigrette is delicious. Other recommended items include biscuits and gravy, brioche French toast, and short ribs breakfast. The pastries are excellent, with a nice assortment including gluten-free options. The lemon meringue tart is extremely flavorful.

For coffee lovers, the seasonal maple latte and smoked sea salt maple latte are delish and among the best ever had. The salted maple latte is so good that some have returned for it the next day. For those with celiac disease or gluten sensitivities, Alder Bakery & Eatery offers gluten-free options and is attentive to dietary needs. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the food is prepared with care and skill.

We stopped here on our way back to Massachusetts. Wow, what a great find - totally worthy of the 5 stars. Sandwiches were both great, and the coffee, latte, and pastries we took to go after were excellent. Anytime we come back through here I'd stop again.
This quaint cafe is amazing! The staff are very friendly. Not pictured- the breakfast sandwich as it was too good to wait for. The biscuit is more of a warm, flakey, buttery croissant that pairs excellently with the sausage and REAL scrambled eggs. Seasonal maple latte- delish. 10/10 will be stopping again.
First time here, travelling from CT With my wife for our annual autumn trip. And what a surprise this restaurant/café was.
The hospitality, the quality of the food, the flavors of the coffee. We order the biscuits and gravy, brioche French toast and short ribs breakfast, and those are the items you will enjoy !

Thank you all for your kindness and the extremely flavorful lemon meringue tart !

Wishing you all the best success

Brittany and Guillaume.
