My husband and I absolutely fell in love with Chester, and we truly think much of that came from the kindness and hospitality we experienced at the Stone Hearth Inn. Vicky (I hope I have your name right!) made us feel so genuinely welcomed from the moment we arrived. She and her equally talented children, who own and operate the eatery, gave us such a wonderful impression not only of the inn, but of Vermont as a whole.

Celebrated a 70th birthday today. Fantastic! Everything and everyone were fantastic and happy. So happy to have been there for the first experience and looking forward to sharing with others!!!

A great local restaurant. The owners who will likely be your server are very nice and the food is spectacular. Lots of locally sourced stuff, and a regularly changing menu. Always a good meal.
