Wonderful cafe with delicious fare - I’ve had breakfast and lunch there now and have enjoyed both. If wholly recommend the breakfast sandwiches, the chocolate walnut bourbon pie, and especially the lattes.
We spent 1 month in Chester and another month in Springfield during summer 2025. During that time, we visited Southern Pie 14 times - we loved it that much! The breakfast sandwiches are the best we've eaten and we also really enjoyed the baked oatmeal and the roast beef sandwich, Depot St. We ordered multiple slices of pie and cookies. The drinks were also excellent. The staff are very friendly and the interior and exterior are very cute. Highly recommend for breakfast...
