Being old we ate early. 5:00pm. Only two other tables for most of our meal, which was absolutely delicious. I had one of their specialties, calf's liver. Not a meal for everybody but as good as at our favorite Italian restaurant in Manhattan or as my Italian father made it. NYC prices but worth every penny. The wines that are sold by the glass are not usually top tier. The Pinot Noir that we had was. Strongly recommend eating here.
Delicious food, the most gorgeous inn, and phenomenal service. They get busy, so service can sometimes be a bit slow. And there's definitely an obvious push for "another drink" or "start with an appetizer," but besides that, it's one of our favorites in the area.

The Dorset Inn is a great jewel! Every time we dine there, it’s consistently wonderful. The staff makes all extra too and they are all very professional and delightful know their food, cocktails, wines and small gift shop products. Kudos to the chef and management!I adore their locally made maple syrup candles in our kitchen that continually remind us of the Inn!
