You pay up front and add 20% for the food to come
Out wrong + confusion behind the counter causes chaos and misunderstanding, and then one person is done eating and left to wait before you ever receive your food. As happened today. On my birthday.

Lovely and expectedly overpriced bakery and coffee shop in the heart of Dorset. Coffee is solid if a bit weak and oat milk is suspiciously like soy milk. Pasties are great and bring the puppets to enjoy the outside patio!

A bakery and so much more! You can come here for breakfast and lunch and enjoy a packed menu with so many delicious options and coffee. Definitely worth the visit if you are in the area.
So I think what others have said is true. It’s worth coming back 2x in one day. IMO slightly overpriced (avg $20 for a sandwich) BUT you get what you pay for. Portion could easily serve for several meals (I certainly saved for later) and was fresh as could be with what I felt were quality ingredients. The team of ladies serving me was professional, cheerful, and knowledgeable. I was told their pastries and baked goods sell out so fast that they rotate on a menu that is not weekly or even daily, but sometimes hourly! If you see something get it now because it might not be there if you blink an eye. The espresso chip cookie was pretty good, and I truly enjoyed the flourless chocolate torte. The highlight? The matcha latte. A must. I am working at the Vermont horse show down the road and this will definitely be a regular stop when I’m here !! I am a Matcha snob and this is one of the best ones I’ve ever had. Literally. And Ari is wonderful at the counter, great staff!!!

Asked if blueberry scone was fresh and they said yes. When we got home it was hard and crusted over. Wasted $5. Cinnamon roll was better.
A lovely stop on a foggy, rainy day for tea & sweets.

Loved this bakery. We ended up going twice in one day. Egg Sandwiches and Avocado toast were delicious and we went back for brisket and roast beef sandwiches. Both were awesome. Also could not resist the scones, cookies, and muffins. When we visit Manchester or Dorset again we’ll be back!
