“We have driven by this place a couple times while headed to Norton Lake on vacation and decided to stop in the other day. The brewery and the owners are both fantastic! We enjoyed a couple flights, and another brew while eating nice hot pizza on a lazy rainy afternoon. We even bought a growler of one of our favorites, the Hero Dirt oatmeal stout, and buckled it in safely for the ride home! Even got a couple stickers to share the love. Stop in, say hello, and hang out in this wonderful relaxed atmosphere.“

“Heaven on earth in East Burke. We have family in East Burke, and Auntie Dee Dees is the go-to on Sunday mornings for fabulous pastries and all kinds of breakfast/brunch treats. Call ahead and order. You still may have to wait in line a bit because it's a small shop, but worth it.“

“Went as a group of 3 and really enjoyed the atmosphere. I ordered the Day Light beer and a biker bowl and thought both were superb, especially the food. Both came out quick, and Madeline, our waitress, had a great vibe. We really enjoyed her energy, and work.“

“Cute little spot that offers coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and lunch sandwiches. The sandwiches are all premade but if you have a dietary restriction (dairy, gluten, no meat) they will make a sandwich for you. The baked goods were delicious as well! Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, good food!“

“Burke Mountain Hotel is a beautiful hotel set in gorgeous scenery. We stayed here in August 22 just a day or two after the Burke Enduro World Series Mountain Bike Event. I think the staff was worn out, but it didn’t stop them from being friendly. Lots of space to relax in and beds were comfortable. Food in the “View Pub” was delicious and they served us even though we arrived just before closing time. We were also treated to free dessert and had friendly conversations with the staff.“
