Great pizza, great lunch special 2 slices and a fountain drink $8. Amazing lemon ricotta cookies.

When riding a Vespa scooter in Essex Junction, one MUST stop at Vespa’s Italian restaurant! I highly recommend their BBQ chicken pizza. Great food, terrific family staff and well appointed kitchen.

Wouldn't hear for the first time today. Had the turkey BLT and it was one of the best sandwiches I've had. It was very good. I plan to go back and try some of the other sandwiches. The reason for the four stars is the pizza was just okay. Had a small Hawaiian to split between me and the wife. I would not make a trip back for the pizza. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't anything special. I did appreciate the thin crust and when I asked for it well done. It was cooked the way I wanted. Tried one of their lemonades and it was so sugary. Also, I think their air conditioner might have been broken because it was stuffy warm in there. And lastly, I'm trying to keep this from affecting my review, they were playing fusion jazz as the music in the restaurant. It alternated between fusion jazz and elevator jazz and I wanted to stick an ice pic in my ears. I'm not going to let my hatred for jazz taint my review but my God it was painful.

Thursday night, the 11th take out order way over done cooked dry chicken tenders, meat lovers pizza with almost nothing on it Italian cookies very bland very doughy unimpressed

Easily the best Pizza north of the Bronx! Others call themselves NY Pizza, but Vespa's is the real McCoy. And it doesn't cost $30+.

I love this place! Moved nearby two years ago and Vespas has become a staple when I need a break from cooking!

The staff is super friendly and super competent and generous, in an age where restaurants can have sketchy staffing.

Pizza is always perfect. Chicken fingers are (amazingly) made in-house, and a great deal. Wings also great. My kids often get the Alfredo.

I ordered online and when I got there at the time the order should have been done they told me the online system went down and they had to reboot it which caused them to lose all the orders.
Bonus:: staff was very clear with explaining this and quickly made up my order in a reasonable amount of time.
Good on them for recovering from this IT issue and keeping me as a customer in the future.

Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday.

Had a couple slices. Their pizza is thin crust, fairly crisp cook. They have a decent variety of slices to choose from. Their larger specialty pies are also excellent, whether it's red or white pizza it's very tasty. Really like their Buffalo Chicken, Barbecue Chicken, and their Brie Apple and Mediterranean Pies.

Their pasta are also really good, house made sauces. The Alfredo is nice and creamy, the fettuccine is well cooked.

Their wings are decent size, their garlic parmesan is a dry rub, their sweet and spicy one seems to be a mix of hot sauce and honey, sort of baked on.

Overall great food and service. Good spot in the area.
