Poor activities, no food choice and unhelpful staff. When we checked in, front desk did not inform us that we need the Notch Card to access to the pool and Fun Zone. We even went there to get more information the second day, and wasn’t inform again. Then when we get the the pool, we can not get in and had to go back to Front desk again. There are no other activities in the resort and only one restaurant is open at the time

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Our room was perfect for kids and allowed our kids to all bunk up together and have fun the entire week. Everything is very accessible at the resort and it is nice to have chairlift access within walking distance.

Smuggs is a great ski resort! I really enjoyed their brewfest and they have excellent terrain. It is a great place for friends and family. The employees working at the ski shop were very friendly and super helpful!

Always a great time, plenty to do and good skiing/snow boarding. We travel with our older adult children and grandchildren. We have been coming to Smuggler's Notch for over 30 years and our children and now grandchildren love it. We are there at least 1 week in the winter and 1 week in the summer. Great family vacation!

Great east coast mountain. Fantastic slopes, great instructors. Lifts are a bit old and slow but that’s the only negative. Accommodations are clean and nice as well. Food isn’t as expensive as some other resorts I’ve been to and is pretty good.

Location was great, ski in - ski out which really added to the enjoyment of the week. Everything you needed was right there on site. Restaurants, ski rentals, Ski Pro shop, General store for those little things you may have forgotten.... Slopes were well maintained and there was plenty of room. Lifts were well operated and lines were never more than 10 min even on the busiest days. Overall it was an amazing place with a great feel!

Great time at Smuggs. Weather was decent and we had a fun time with our family. True skier’s mountain with challenging terrain available, but very family oriented and lots of things to do for the entire family. Our unit was a 4-BR unit, with each BR having its own private full bath. The condo was walking distance to Morse Mountain.

We have been going to Smuggs for 15 years and my kids have already decided that some day when they have kids, they will bring their families there as well. Everything about Smugglers Notch points to the fact that they are investing in kids and families to grow the next generation of skiers. This is a family vacation that you will want to repeat year after year…

This is the cleanest, friendliest and most pleasant resort we have ever stayed at. Ski in and out, perfect! It snowed for two days when we were there and they didn't stop helping. They even dug our car out!

These waffles hit the spot. They were nice and warm, expensive but that's expected on the mountain. Service was great with a smile and all goes to a great cause. The only reason they lost a star was that they were out of maple topping.

Very comfortable, clean, lots of activities. Beautiful area. Very large resort, plenty of ski trails and tubing. The village has a variety of restaurants, shops. There is a 'grocery' store on site, which I would use in a pinch, otherwise its very expensive....paying for convenience.

Smugglers Notch is a great family getaway. Skiing and activities for the whole family make it worth the trip. We stayed in the Tamaracks with our family of 5 and it was perfect for sleeping arrangements. Very spacious, clean and comfortable.

If you can handle the drive around looking for your condo then this resort is for you. Everytime I left I would get turned around or literally lost trying to find it. The property is so massive they give you a map, but even that didn't help. When for the first time we did find our condo we found it to be clean and comfy however we were on the third floor with no elevator. My friend and I were stuck transporting very heavy suitcases up 3 flights of stairs which was not pleasant. You should know that this resort is far from everything so I really only suggest it for people that want to ski or take advantage of the activities they have on property which in my opinion are really more geared for children.

Smuggs is better than Disney in both the summer and winter. In the winter, it is even better for a family than any of the ski resorts out west! In the summer, adults can go on amazing guided hikes up the mountain, through the Notch and along the Long Trail, stop and swim in lakes and see waterfalls, all while their children are in the amazing camps that Smuggs has to offer!

We were there for Christmas and bought the “winter package”, it was labeled as a “family” resort and seemed like it had a decent amount of family activities, but when we got there, they cancelled whole bunch of those activities without notice. Pros: The room was clean, spacious, and warm. There were 2- 3 restaurants that we visited, the food was okay and the prices reasonable. They had a fun zone which included laser tag ( for an added fee) and mini golf. The outside was very pretty and there were snowshoe trails. Cons: They had a TV in the living room and one in the room that were like 20” I mean, really? It was oddly small and only had cable. We couldn’t even stream anything in the evenings. We couldn’t use the trails for cross country skiing, which the package included because they hadn’t cleaned the trails, but had to pay over $100+ extra per person if we wanted to ski. Ice rink was closed so no skating, tubing was cancelled on the weekend we were there( also included in the package), pool closed an hour earlier than was posted due to it being Christmas (which I get, but at least post the info somewhere) and no towels were provided, so if you forgot one, too bad. The fun zone was good but you could do everything in it in a span of 2 hours, we were there for 3 days. Overall, I wouldn’t go there again.
