“My wife and I dropped in on the last day of our vacation yesterday. We weren't really sure what to expect, but whatever those expectations were, were completely blown out of the water with super friendly service, tasty beer and a cozy atmosphere. We've driven by a million times when we've been up here for vacation and never stopped in, I wish that we had sooner! Do yourself a favor and stop by. I really enjoyed the session ale.”

“We got dinner here last night, the food was good and the staff was great. I got the lobster and pasta special which was pretty good and my wife got the lamb rack which was also good. My kids got a chicken parm and a cheese burger. We all got deserts and the bill came to 200$. We try to eat here when we visit Smuggs it’s good! Oh and you have to make a reservation”

“Boyden Valley is our favorite winery! One of the main reasons we drive 3 1/2 hours as often as we can to stock up on their delicious wines and cream liquors! This time was even more incredible when we had the amazing opportunity to talk with Linda. She was one of the most friendly people I have seen in a very long time. She made my children feel so welcomed and happy and now after a week they are still telling people about Linda at the winery! It was a breath of fresh air to walk into the winery and be treated with such kindness, wine knowledge, and enthusiasm.”

“We ate here while staying at Sterling ridge resort. The nicest staff and the food was soooo good! We didn’t have a reservation but sat at the bar for dinner. The lobster rolls were 10/10, drinks were on point and we got the salmon & blackened chicken pasta for dinner - both awesome. We will definitely be coming back!”

“Smugglers Notch is the perfect expert and family and family skiing resort. I love that it is a quintessential Vermont old-school ski mountain and not full of high speed quads that clog up the trails. If you don't like standing in line and riding up 2-seater lifts, then you should go over the other side of the Notch to Stowe.”

“This is a private club. I've seen a lot of reviews complaining about this not being advertised, so I want to say that first and foremost. The atmosphere is relaxed, light and airy, the entire space is always impeccably clean and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The food is fresh and the quality is always excellent. The dress is country club casual. Parking is limited, but valet parking is available and free.”

“Everything was great. Above all, CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN! It’s definitely modernized and well kept. We were in the main building. The pool looked wonderful though we didn’t have a chance to use it. Free breakfast each morning off choices made for us, not a buffet. King bed was very comfortable and chair and footrest next to the bed also great. Television had more channels than I can remember on a hotel television. The location is on the main road that goes into the shopping/dining district but a few miles away so it’s quiet. The beginning of the famed Recreation Trail is a very short walk from the hotel. The Wi-Fi was the best of three places we stayed on this trip. Shannon, the proprietor is terrific. I’ll definitely come back here. Parking is free and close to the building entrance.”

“Great place to stop for some fries and a beer to rest the legs. You order drinks direct from the bar and food from the order window and then they bring food to you. The fries are amazing, cooked perfectly. The Flatbreads were also a big hit at our table. We like this place much better than the other bar down at the base, much better vibe.”

“We came to the Matterhorn after skiing today. I've been wanting to go there for months because I had seen pictures of the wonderful Riverview from the windows and we were lucky enough to get there early and get a seat by the window. When my friends asked for hot tea, the waitress informed us that they do not carry any hot drinks. We are not " that kind of place" . We don't serve coffee and tea. We serve alcohol was the sentiment. We did not want to order alcohol but we did order full dinners and an appetizer. The brussel sprouts were amazing! Our server brought us hot water with lime which was delicious! The food was good and we enjoyed our table by the river and fireplace. When we were ready to pay, we were told that they could not split the bill among two separate credit cards. Since when does a restaurant not split the bill up anymore? Doesn't everyone do that these days? I found this disappointing. Now, I owe my friend money the next time I see him. All in all, it was a good experience with a few disappointments but I would, definitely, go back.”

“Village Tavern Jeffersonville, VT I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Village Tavern in Jeffersonville, VT, conveniently located minutes from Smuggler's Notch, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with a warm and welcoming ambiance. The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure our dining experience was exceptional. The food was absolutely delicious, with a diverse menu that catered to a variety of tastes. I tried the grilled salmon and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned, with fresh and high-quality ingredients. The portion sizes were generous and the presentation was beautiful. I highly recommend the Maple Chipotle Wings(we are in VT of course) or the Quesadilla Explosion Salad to really get your taste buds going. They offer a variety of classics for kids as well such as Chicken Fingers, Hot Dogs, and Spaghetti. Overall, I highly recommend The Village Tavern to anyone looking for a great dining experience in Jeffersonville. The combination of excellent food, friendly service, and cozy atmosphere make it a must-visit destination. I will definitely be returning in the future. PLEASE NOTE: They are VERY busy so you will likely not get through via phone. I showed up in person to a packed restaurant, placed my takeout order and was out within 20 mins.”

“Nice cozy cafe located in the Stowe Mountain resort ( Spruce Peak village) serving delicious coffee and bakery items! We tried the seasonal vanilla and strawberry latte and it was amazing. Outdoor sitting as well for beautiful views if the weather permits. Overall worth the visit!!”

“One of the most unique dining places in Stowe. Need to take the gondola to get to the top of the mountain. This restaurant has absolutely gorgeous views and food. Reservations required.Service was absolutely amazing and so was the food. I loved their waffle sundae! The spicy black bean burger is a great option for vegetarian food. It’s a must try. I highly recommend checking out this restaurant.Parking: You need to park at the gondola parking lot, take the gondola to get to this restaurant.”

“Delicious seafood at the Tipsy Trout! Super yummy crab cake sliders to start! I also loved their scallops and lobster roll! I really enjoyed their refreshing cocktails, too! I was disappointed in their lack of seating accommodation. The restaurant was practically empty, and we requested a small booth for two. They said they were unavailable and then sat us at a loose screw table that became obnoxious really fast. The waiter was kind enough to adjust the table, placing a napkin underneath. It was aggravating to be dining for almost an hour and a half while seeing several booths remain empty the entire time! Great food, poor management up front.”

“Truly loved the vibe of this place. The food and cocktails were amazing. I felt bad though because though it took awhile to get our drinks orders a few times we felt it was NOT the server’s fault and that overall they were a little understaffed. She still did a great job trying to manage so many tables. Everyone was wonderful and chef even brought out our entrees to us. Reservations highly recommended and valet is included with dinner.”
