“During our two week trip to New England we took a last minute side trip to Vermont and stayed at the Castle Hill Inn Resort & Spa and ate at its fine dining restaurant on a Tuesday night. We chose to eat in the elegant original dining room overlooking the back gardens. It was very romantic. The wine selection was delightfully more varied than what we had been experiencing in the region and the food and service were top notch. Sadly, because of the recent flooding, what used to be its second busiest season after skiing, now is awfully quiet. People are staying away from the area and we were only one of five couples to be eating there that night.“
