Johnny's Kitchen serves delicious meals in a friendly atmosphere. The broccoli cheddar soup is a highlight, and the paninis, especially the Vermont Panini, are a must-try. Great sandwiches like the Fabio—ham, Swiss cheese, salami, sauerkraut, banana peppers, and tomato on an Italian bun—are fabulous. The ingredients taste fresh and high quality, and even simple dishes like the grilled cheese are done with care. Expect amazing service from the nice servers, but be prepared for a slightly slower pace, as it's not fast food. The owner/chef Jonny is friendly and quick with a smile. Live music, including blues and jazz, adds to the charm—stop by in the afternoon to enjoy it. Online ordering is easy, the dining area is clean, and the prices are reasonable. A decent selection of national and local canned beers, like Super Nova IPA, is available. Little touches, like wrapping the side pickle separately, show extra effort. Very glad to see they remain consistent—it's that good!
