“You can't beat a good ol' ice cream window. Carmen's has easily become a household staple. They have a variety of soft serve, hard icecream, milkshakes, and even vegan options! It is always delicious, and staff is the sweetest. We will definitely be stopping by all the time this summer. I just wish they had more outdoor seating.

“The Freighthouse is phenomenal. The food is all fresh, and organic, and delicious. They have options for pretty much all diets, and they easily have the best Vegan breakfast options in the NEK. Add in the specialty food store section, the gift section, and the ice cream window and this place is just the best. We've been going there regularly for over 15 years and they just keep improving and improving. This is a must see/stop if you are visiting the NEK. The owner and proprietor is continuously updating, upgrading, and improving the space and the menu and has made customers for life out of our family!“
