About Red Door Bakery
Red Door Bakery Reviews
I purchased a small Wild Blueberry pie at Max's in Woodstock, VT on July 10th in advance of the expiration date of July 12th. At $8.49 for a small pie, it is the most expensive of the five or so pies I recently have had. The crust was inedible, the filling lacked any measurable taste. It was therefore the worst of the pies I have had at stores such as Hannaford (Rutland), Star Market (Newton, MA) and Whole Foods (Newton).

Red Door Bakery is a delightful find, creating exceptional baked goods like the Strawberry Rhubarb pie with a perfect crust. Their attention to detail sets them apart, from seedless berry fillings to bars reminiscent of homemade treats. Customers praise their cookies, especially the 5" cookies which are equal to four normal-sized ones, fresh and extremely tasty with sugar crystals on top. The molasses cookies are described as perfection, with a rich, spicy-sweet flavor and a chewy texture that melts in the mouth, making them some of the best around. The bakery's brownies are moist, rich, and delicious, perfect to enjoy with a glass of milk. The Hallelula Date Bar is moist and chewy, and the raspberry crumble and date bars are highly loved. Customers also enjoy the cookies and bars, noting that eating Red Door Bakery treats may become addictive. While products are mainly available in Vermont, their quality and taste make them worth seeking out. A visit to Red Door Bakery promises a taste of nostalgic, high-quality baked goods that often exceed expectations and are well worth the wait and shipping time.
