Phenomenal restaurant. Great place for birthday or holiday dinner.
Great food a great atmosphere.
Amazing food and service! This is my number one dining destination in Addison County! Do yourself a favor and head over!
The hospitality is unmatched under the leadership of host owner Paris! The restaurant is filled with generations of love! The steaks are of the finest quality in all of the USA.
We had a positive experience. Got there 15 minutes before our reservation and they were able to accommodate. The ambiance is good but was disappointed when saw that the top of our chairs were ripped. It looked really bad. The food was good but not exceptional. Service was also good but not exceptional. Some smiles and kind words go a long way. The price was reasonable for the food we ordered. I would consider going back if we are in the Middlebury area.
This place is truly a gem! It’s our go-to spot, and if I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. The customer service is always top-notch—it’s so nice to see familiar faces every time we visit. I can’t believe I haven’t left a review before now! The food is consistently excellent, and the menu offers such a wide variety of choices, which is rare for a small, locally owned restaurant. Highly recommend!
Eclectic with excellent food, service and ambiance! A DO NOT miss if you are in the area.

I will never go back there again !! The waiter was absolutely the worst waitstaff I have ever had , seated at 5:50 and received our meal at 7:20 .. food had been under a warmer until potatoes were starting to crust over. Took half an hour to get simple drinks and rolls. The lobster bisque had a strange taste. Waiter was not paying attention to drink glasses even though we had water and soda. I heard so many good things about this place only to be disappointed with the evening.

Fire & Ice is would absolutely be a restaurant where it would be logical to have a dress code! The decor makes this a true upscale dining experience (for Vermont, anyway). The food is always excellent (I always get the North Country Burger with the maple bacon dry rub) and the service is quick and friendly. It's on the more expensive side but still very reasonable for the quality. It usually runs us about $50 for a two person meal with two drinks. The atmosphere and decor is excellent and it makes for a good casual, yet classy dining experience. Fair warning: you CAN get lost in the maze of differeng dining rooms. It is a very large restaurant with many different hallways and corridors!
Parking: Parking is included on the premises but the lot tends to fill up and can be quite tight. Don't bring your big truck with you to park here, the smaller the better! It is often quite full up in the evenings because of how popular this place is.

This was a very lovely place! The food was very tasty, and we had no complaints. The staff was very nice and helped accommodate our seating requests which was very nice. The interior was also really lovely, I definitely would recommend to anyone wanting to celebrate a special occasion!

This place was amazing ! I’m so glad we chose this place at our 1 night in Middlebury. Lynn, our server, was so great. She knew everything about the food and restaurant.
The restaurant is SO interesting and definitely is a conversation starter. Highly recommend going here.

Stopped here for dinner and sat in the Pub area. Liked the decor - eclectic w a lot of cool items including an old wooden speedboat in entry area. It was busy when we arrived but were able to get a table fairly quickly. All went ok until we had to wait a really long time for our food to arrive after ordering. Once it arrived, our fries were cold with many, small overcooked pieces. I wasn’t a fan of taste of my chicken sandwich but my companions enjoyed their burgers. I felt like the waitress forgot us and our food probably sat waiting for her to deliver. Maybe we would’ve had a better experience if we were seated in one of the dining rooms since we were somewhat isolated at a table on balcony overlooking bar.

I found the atmosphere worth the visit. The service needs improvement. I was greeted a few times, but no one took the time to seat me even though it was mostly empty. The food was good and tasty but on the slightly expensive side.
