Went here for the first time with the girlfriend as it was one of the spots to visit when coming to this state for the first time. Upon entering, Alexandre was very polite to welcome us and introduced us to mead and gave us a tasting. All of his homemade mead and generous hospitality and describing every one of his drinks made us big fans of mead. I highly recommend visiting here if you are interested in trying out these type of drinks!!!

Had a great mead tasting with Alexander! He makes all of the mead on-site himself using local honey and flavors. Alexander spent a lot of time with us sharing the mead making process and how he sources local ingredients. It was a unique experience and a highlight of our trip to middlebury.

My husband and i were lucky enough to stumble upon golden rule mead, which was down the street from our b&b. Alexander was a pleasure and created an unforgettable experience. If you're looking to enjoy a nice, well crafted glass of mead and engage in some great conversation about the process, you must visit. We were so impressed with the mead that we decided to have a bottle during our wedding toast. We welcome the day when we can return to middlebury and thank alexander for creating an amazing product.
