The hostess seems a little stressed and had a big to do based around whether or not people had made reservations before showing up. Saw a guy walk out on her because he didn't want to deal with her parade. Experienced hostesses would know before a guest showed what the availability is, the place had many empty tables. Outside of that the food was awesome. The poached eggs on the Benedict were a little over cooked, but it still tasted good. My $16 dollar slices of toast were very very small and my daughters pancakes were large enough to feed two people. Over $70 on breakfast for 3, I'd expect a bit more out of the place. The waitress was nice but wasn't on top of our table like I'd expect. Overall I was sitting in a spot where the air conditioner was blowing right on me and I had to wear my jacket all through breakfast. The food tasted good enough for us to want visit again, hopefully this visit was just a spoof and the next one will be better.

What a pleasant surprise. I knew the atmosphere would be Old World cozy and classy - but didn’t know it would be warm and down to earth (not classic and cold as some similar places might be).
But I didn’t expect the menu to be so creative and filled with reasonably priced surprises. The unexpected twists and variety of different foods for all tastes went way beyond what one might expect from a hotel restaurant.
Plus, we happened upon half price for wine bottle evening, which was another pleasant surprise.
Yet none of that would have been as satisfying had the service not been so friendly, again, down to earth and professional.
It was one of the most pleasant experiences at a restaurant I can remember and would be worth a trip even from Burlington to enjoy.

The Truth Hurts

Had a 2 servers one had really long dirty nails and the other's nose was running. Manager was also there. Its nasty how they allow dirty and sick people to wait on tables. Disgusting never again.

An unexpected gem! Really interesting menu, elegant setting and excellent service. The Prime Rib Croque Monsieur was tasty and unusual but still familiar. A big "yes" for a return visit.

Ideal for celiacs and excellent treatment!

We spent several days having breakfast and one day I had dinner there. It is very welcoming, they are very friendly and professional. The waitress Andrea was really great and recommended me and treated me great. All the waiters were especially careful with me because I have celiac disease. They offered me Gluten Free bread and potatoes free of cross contamination for breakfast. The same for dinner. All the food is very good.

The views on the terrace are beautiful. Everything was more than great and the best thing was the tranquility of having breakfast, lunch or dinner as a celiac.

We go here for brunch, and it never disappoints. A solid menu, with all the things you'd expect at brunch. They've got a whole build your own mimosa menu, which js fun, and my favorite thing is that they serve hashbrowns. Not home fries, proper hashbrowns. One of my favorite foods.

Parking: Parking is on the side of the building, and once you figure out where it is, there's a back entrance that goes right into the restaurant. Even without that, it's a short walk to the main entrance. Like 30 seconds. Totally flat, then some steps, and in you go.

Very nice and fun spot. The food and drinks were great. A tad loud where we eat but it was fine. Over all highly recommended.

The traditional breakfast was perfectly prepared. Hash browns were nicely crisp, eggs were poached exactly as I like them. Decor is nicely vintage, with beautiful wallpaper.

Very nice atmosphere, average food, unfortunately completely overwhelmed service... although less than two thirds of the restaurant was occupied, I was told as a hotel guest that unfortunately they couldn't offer me a table this evening because the kitchen was completely overwhelmed. When I insisted on eating there in the house because I was very tired after a long drive and didn't want to leave the hotel, I was given a table after a long wait. The appetizer we ordered was completely forgotten, no further drinks were asked for, overall the service seemed either very new or very lackluster, in any case completely overwhelmed. The barbecue chicken for $28 was mediocre. Maybe next time it will be better...
