When I was doing summer language school at Middlebury, I'd walk down here in the afternoons to sit up in the loft with a tray of tea and study, often with a classmate or two. It became like a second home. I love this store, it's my favorite coffee or tea house I've ever been too. I miss it so much. The tea is top quality of course. Years later I still order from their website.
I love dealing with the staff at Stoneleaf and being at the tea house. I purchase tea as well as teaware. I live about forty five minutes drive from the tea house, but it is worth the drive and the time to visit and partake in the experience.
I don’t think I’ve ever experienced a tea house like this in my life. It truly is a cozy place packed with an ample selection of teas to choose from. The staff are quite nice and super knowledgeable. I recommend this place as a must-visit. They are the real deal!
