Really good wood fired pizza. Take out only. I believe only weekend evenings. Definitely worth catching. Nice option for pizza when you're at Jay peak. Delicious options, friendly staff. Definitely hope to have them again when we visit next

We had Fire on the Mountain Pizza from the truck at Tuesday Night Live in Johnson. Pizza was absolutely fabulous. Not cheap, but we felt like the quality as worth it. We'd order it again!

Don catered our wedding, and his pizza was such a hit. It is so incredibly tasty, crispy, and well cooked. There are a great mix of classic and unique flavors, and everyone was blown away by the food. We didn’t have to worry about any elements of the dinner at our wedding. Don came with his own set-up complete with tables, a tent, and plates and cutlery and was ready to go serving pies right at dinner time. I seriously cannot recommend this pizza enough, and would highly recommend hiring Fire on the Mountain for your next event. It’s high quality, genuinely good pizza that everyone can enjoy and brings such a warm, upbeat, and casual mood to any affair. Don is so laid back and we felt so confident going into the wedding that he had everything under control and we had nothing to worry about.

Highly recommend. We are up for the weekend to ski at Jay and ordered 4 pizzas from FOMP. I took the ride to pick up the pizzas and they are conveniently located, an easy 13 minutes from Jay. Hung out on the porch for a few minutes chatting with the owner who makes the dough from scratch and was pulling my pizzas out of the oven. Delicious. Will be back.
Absolutely the best pie I've had in a long, long time.Delicious!
Fast, friendly, tasty.

Really good pizza and superfast. Very friendly staff. The pizza seemed one size fits all at about 12-14". All handmade.
As a die hard skier of nearly half a century, I've been in my fair share of ski towns. Much like the search for first tracks through fresh powder, locating good pizza after a day on the slopes is elusive at best and impossible at worst. Fire on the Mountain Pizza solves that riddle: pizza described as "the best pizza ever" by a picky 10 year old and by my healthy eating wife as "a perfect combination of taste that doesn't leave you feeling gross", these pies are legit "can't stop". Not too thin, not to thick crust, a goldilocks perfect ratio of cheese and sauce, and fresh toppings. Great pizza a short drive from the resort and served by someone who cares. Call ahead from the last chair to schedule your pickup and enjoy a perfect pizza to close the day. Props to the Edward Abbey reference in the name. In Abbey's words, "we need the possibly of escape just as surely as we need hope" and this pizza provides both. Be kind, be safe, eat local.
Whenever we can we get our hands on this pizza (which often sells out it’s so good) we do. Whenever our family visits they look forward to and actually require that we have a pizza night from Fire on Mountain. Far and away this is an expertly made pie with the best of the best ingredients. They clearly have a passion for their craft and have developed an amazing technique - to have truly wood fired pizza on the road from wherever they bring their remarkable oven. The veggie, Vermonter, and Hawaiian are among our favorites. Yet every pizza we have had has been nothing but exceptional. It’s sad to see even one negative review but I realize it’s probably from a naysayer that isn’t happy with anything ever. This business is exceptional and deserves praise and support. I am drooling just thinking about it as we speak. Thank you Fire on (the) Mountain!
For pizza cooked on a stone, it wasn't as crispy as expected.I ordered pineapple, not Hawaiian, and somehow got Blue Hawaiian (red sauce, pineapple, ham, onions, and BBQ sauce.) This was a huge downer. I don't like ham.I liked the fresh pineapple but wish it had more.
It’s so amazing. Must try!!! Super friendly peeps too.
