Smooth coffee, baked goods that are absolutely worth a day trip or stopover. Made with local fresh ingredients and with love. Scones, cinnamon twists, blueberry shortcake which looks like a pot pie. You can't go wrong with anything in the case. It's a popular spot with locals and a 10 minute walk from the capitol area. Service is friendly and easy going. We took ours to go and sat outside in the downtown area. Limited seats outside.
Birchgrove has been part of Montpelier for as long as I can remember. They get up at ungodly hours to bring us our coffee, pastries, cakes. Amazing hard working artists. If you haven’t checked out their donuts on a Sunday morning, get in line you won’t regret it .They care deeply about what they do and our community. Love you guys. Olivia Tyler
