Summary: the restaurant is worn down, the service is non existent, and the food was mediocre. Walking in the restaurant was filled with smoke from the grill as there’s no ventilation, which should have been our first sign to leave. We ordered at the counter and sat down and they delivered us the completely wrong orders and overcharged us for them after also not even giving us our coffees until after serving multiple guests who arrived after us. The coffee was burned and the food was fine, if the wrong items, and there were no lids for the Togo only cups. Last thing, the bathroom even was out of paper towels and soap. Overall, do not recommend

This Cafe operates in a fashion similar to McDonald's, in that, you stand in line to order, get your food when ready and dump your trash when finished. The actual food and atmosphere was excellent. However the menu was difficult to decipher and was displayed on a chalk board at left when entering. Therefore one has to decipher the menu, order your food then wait to pick it up. Given that I have had 2 recent knee replacements I needed to sit down. Therefore my wife and I were given a paper menu and were waited on at our table.

We live in Montpelier and a friend was visiting, so we tried Cafe Noa and what a superb discovery! From the moment we drove into the parking area we knew we were in for a different treat, from the welcoming entrance to the chalkboard menu. the warm and inviting interior with delicious smells, to the very friendly and hospitable staff. We were greeted warmly and guided to place our orders and found a table beside the large windows where we enjoyed our coffees until the entrees were served in very short order. The food was excellent and plentiful, and after an unhurried meal we settled our very reasonable bill and reluctantly made our way out, again with invitations to return. We will certainly make Cafe Noa one of our regular eating stops in Montpelier, and encourage everyone to give them a try- you will not be disappointed!

Breakfast was underwhelming and overpriced for portion size/taste/creativity.

Super cute quiet spot just a short walk away from the downtown area of Montpelier. Service was amazing and food was also very good. We went in for a late breakfast. Plenty of seating both inside and outside with a nice view of the river.

Ok - this place is a little gem!

First, the vibe when you walk in is very peaceful - they have a screen that just plays video of lovely little birds going about their business. So cute and pleasant!

Second, the people who work here are very kind and efficient. They are nice in a relaxed way.

Third - the breakfast sandwiches? What can I say other than it was the most delicious breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. Sooooo good!

My friend and myself were looking for a place to chill and get Sunday Brunch. He took me here and I was extremely impressed with the presentation and quality of the dishes. We both had The Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict!!! The Best I Ever Had!!! Highly recommend this hidden gem ❤️❤️❤️

I was on a road trip to Barre from the Champlain Islands and stopped here for lunch. Had the Tempeh Banh Mi and it was cooked to perfection and delicious. We sat outside on the patio with a screen to help guard from the sun. Put this place on your list - well worth stopping for.

WOW.

Got the breakfast sandwich- read online their breakfast sandwiches were the best in the city of Montpelier and was made with homemade English muffins, and this did not disappoint!

I ordered the breakfast sandwich with tempeh- easily the best tempeh I’ve ever eaten, and even my friend who doesn’t like tempeh loved it. Also ordered with avocado, and it came sliced thinly and was fresh, just how I like it!!
