The oysters were some of the best, really fresh and full of flavor. The shrimp and grits were incredible, and the blue cheese burger was so good, juicy, flavorful, and that blue cheese hit just right.

The new location's interior design is a bit underwhelming, as it lacks the rich and velvety decor of the Black Door. Nonetheless, Hugo's remains a popular dining destination in Montpelier, and it is recommended to try their unique menu offerings and enjoy the lively atmosphere.
