I have eaten there and it's been good food and good service however its the polar opposite for take out. The food present differently. it looks differently. it takes differentn the portions are way smaller. I usually can't make it through ther large Ceasar salad especially if I add a protein. it's presented well on a large plate. lots of grated cheese. I ordered the same tonight. I used to call JMorgan my favorite Vermont restaurant. It was the place I always went to when I would vacation in VT before I moved here. It was also the place I’d go to for special occasions when I moved. Before the flood, it was a true steakhouse. It was intimate, dark, and oh so special. After the flood, something shifted. First visit since they opened again after the flood. I have travelled the country as a connoisseur of steak, and the 55 day dry aged ribeye was absolutely amazing! In the top 3 steaks I have had in my life, and better than the $250 wagyu ribeye at Emeril’s steakhouse in Vegas. Thick, perfectly cooked medium rare, a simple yet robust flavor profile of butter, salt, and aged beef.
