We rarely dine in, and this was a last-minute choice. We were seated right away. The food was incredible!

8-17-24. What a great restaurant on Route 7. I have never come across this gem before. I will be a repeat customer when I travel back to VT. I went with a lemonade and the Vermont Burger with waffle fries. I was not disappointed. I needed extra napkins and was quickly given them.

My hubby and I visited for a date night while in town. I had the Vermont burger and husband got the loaded Mac and cheese with chicken. For dessert, we ate the strawberry cheesecake. All of the food was delicious and atmosphere was great.

I usually always tip when I order take out but a mandatory 15% tip is a bit ridiculous. Then they charge an extra fee for using your credit card. No complaints about the food. I understand a 15% tip on dine in order but being forced to tip on a pickup order just doesn’t seem right.

This was our first visit with the new owner/new cook after the Covid disaster. We loved it. Delicious food, wine and desert! We'll be back for sure, I want to try more dishes.
Thank you for the great dining experience!

There specials are pretty awesome and even though there are chicken place they do all sorts of varieties of food. We had their special pork belly, pineapple tacos, and they were phenomenal and for an appetizer we had their version of jalapeño poppers, which were amazing.

Came here with my friend, her husband, and their 1 year old. The hostess seated us at the bar since we didn't have a reservation. There was a 4 top open that wasn't set yet but she did not offer it to us. Maybe 10 mins later a couple walked in and they also did not have a reservation and were seated at the 4 top. Seriously? Our party had 3 adults and a kid and they seated us at the bar and the couple got seated at a 4 top? A bit annoying to say the least... Appetizer was good although the spinach-artichoke dip was a bit oily. Food was pretty good as well. Waffle fries were hot and coleslaw was delish with the fresh herbs. However, my fried chicken thighs were a bit dry and overcooked and definitely nowhere near as hot as my fries. Kind of disappointing for a place known for its fried chicken. Fairly small place on the inside. Next time I will know to call ahead and make a reservation. Despite the annoyance with the seating and lackluster fried chicken, my friends enjoyed their meals and our server was very friendly and attentive. The place is cute, one of those true VT gems and I will most likely be coming back (and hopefully the chicken will be hotter and moister next time!).

I have to say ... the chicken and waffle ... which I've had as the main menu item and the habanero version ... is absolutely fantastic. I can't wait to go back. I was really surprised how good it really is.

Best fried chicken, best cold slaw, best waffle fries I've ever had and before that I tried something new. Duck Wantons, you read that correctly and they blew my taste buds up with ecstasy. I'd would suggest to the management to open a Cluckin Cafe in North Conway NH, the most popular vacation area in New England. Probably make a fortune.

Got there Nashville Sandwhich and cheeseburger egg rolls with ketchup aioli on the side to go yesterdayChicken was great and had great flavor and just enough heat to make you smile, waffle fries are usually always good and still are and crispy,Egg rolls are MASSIVE! And they give you two of them and honestly they can be a meal within themselves if you are more in a snack mood.Great portion and delicious food and wonderful staff..Thanks Nicole and to her staff as well ! :)

Two of my buddies went last week and threw up after. I wanted to try it because it’s close to home and I went with five other friends. It’s an hour later and I’m writing this throwing up and another one of my buddies is also throwing up. Out of 8 people half are throwing up. Not great a feeling.

The food was great here. Service was spot on. I was a little disappointed there was no culinary institute or students. I was expecting something else but I'd go back for food again. Delicious!
