This was my first time going to The Kitchen Table. I would highly recommend this restaurant! The staff was welcoming as soon as you walked in, greeted with a smile and walked to your table. Nice variety of dinner options as well as cocktails. I ordered the beef short ribs and was not disappointed! A hearty meal on a rainy day. We barley saved room for dessert and got the tiramisu, which we did not regret! It was delicious! Go check it out, you won't be disappointed!

My wife and I have been here several times and it's always a perfect experience. The food is delicious and the restaurant has a cozy atmosphere. All the cocktails you're looking for and a good wine list.

Great restaurant tucked into a hard to find place. Food was incredibly interesting, fresh and flavorful. Be adventurous, some of the non standard items are delicious.

I had brunch last week with 2 friends and it was delightful. Highly recommended. I had to eggs benedict. hollandaise sauce and hash browns were so good...Next time I might get it on one of their homemade biscuits. And the pomegranate mule was super yummy. Definitely come back with friends and family.

Had poutine - excellent fries with ok gravy. Chicken with risotto - chicken was well prepared but the risotto was disappointing. The beef short ribs were the star of the evening. We were there early so the noise level was good. Prior incarnation of this restaurant had painful noise levels when busy. Great service. If they bring all their dishes up to the short rib level they will do well.

High expectations were not met. Although the service, atmosphere, and drinks were outstanding, the food was just... bland is the best word to describe it. Salmon with fettuccini and green vegetables were so heavy on the sauce that the flavors of the fish, asparagus, and peas were lost. The mushroom gravy on the poutine was similar in density and blandness. (Warm rolls would be a nice touch, but now I'm getting picky). We'll see what their summer menu is like, and try again.

Okay, so I wasn't sure how to review this place because well it was sort of just not that spectacular - sort of an average experience.I love to support local businesses so I was debating on what I wanted to share but at least on the night I went it was just not very memorable. I ordered a burger and yes, it wasn't fantastic, nor bad, just sort of alright. The thing that I took note of is that I got charged maybe $5 for bacon add-on which normally I wouldn't say anything about but the burger itself was $18 and well that's an expensive burger with the bacon on top, and the bacon when it arrived with it was unpronounced which was a bummer, they used a small amount of bacon bits. The food we ordered was more like comfort American and just more expensive than you'd expect elsewhere. I guess price of dining is expensive and so is running a restaurant, so maybe that's less of an issue but relative to other places I have tried, I wouldn't go out of my way to try this place out.

A bit drafty that cold morni g for brunch. Old building, good atmosphere.

Came for a Sunday brunch. The food was delicious. I had challah French toast. Mimosa’s were wonderful. The lay outs a little strange and felt less intimate than I like, coughing children in close proximity but over all a lovely spot.Kid-friendliness: Lots of young loud and coughing children in close proximity. Maybe have a separate “family friendly” area for people who want to bring their 5 kids to Sunday brunch?

We just had the best dinner at The Kitchen Table, a warm, inviting restaurant in Richmond. Flavorful and unfussy food, ambiance, great staff. I saved room for dessert and it was well worth it. Make sure to go and support these local folks because they are such good cooks!

Unfortunately our experience did not live up to the nearly 5 star reviews. Service was polite and welcoming and clearly working hard. Food was one let down after another. Ordered 2 apps, fried Brussels sprouts which were overly charred but also overly saturated in a sauce. The caramelized french onion dip arrived cold. The risotto was really overcooked and mushy and my husband’s burger was underdone (ordered medium and more medium rare) which wasn’t a huge deal but seems like the meat didn’t rest after cooking as his bun was soggy with juice before eating. Was excited to eat here after the reviews but sadly will not be returning.

I was finally able to check out The Kitchen Table for a much needed date night and it didn’t disappoint! From start to finish I felt well taken care of and the atmosphere was soft, warm and calming. I had the Short Ribs and my partner got the Risotto which we shared and both were absolutely delicious. The kind of melt in your mouth delicious where you are comfortably full yet able to still have room and enjoy some dessert! The wine list has everything you want to pair kindly and the espresso martini I had with the Matilda cake left me feeling more than satisfied. Highly recommend and will be returning!

Spectacular! What an amazing and grand experience we had. The service was prompt and highly knowledgeable. Friendly and attentive, but not overbearing. You couldn't ask for a more charming atmosphere for a date night in Chittenden County.Last but certainly not least is the meal. The Kitchen Table had a comprehensive wine and beer list that pairs so well with the menu. We were more than thrilled with the short ribs and risotto that we ordered. Flavor was exceptional and the portion sizes are more than enough to qualify for a legitimate entrée. Needless to say this will be a recommendation going forward and plans to return are already in the talks!
