My husband and I had the welcome dinner for our wedding at Vermont Fine and everything was perfect! The food and drinks were incredible, and Tom and Chelsea took great care in meeting the dietary accommodations for our guests. The set-up for the party was beautiful, and the service was great. We highly recommend reaching out to them for your event!

There are no amount of words that can express how good this place is. It’s near the highway so very accessible if you’re visiting like we were.I love that they have a huge chalkboard with all the local farms that they’re using for all of their food. Every piece of art on the wall is a local artists and for sale. The menu had something for everybody between pasta, a burger, salads, and even seafood.I had the mushroom risotto and added scallops. The risotto was done perfectly. It was so full of flavor and the scallops just melted in my mouth. My husband got the lamb sandwich which was something really different for him and he loved it. We tried the pierogies and sausage, for an appetizer. We also had the fettuccine Alfredo main dish, and my toddler would not let the adult who ordered it eat the pasta. It is made in house and absolutely the best pasta I’ve ever had. Then for dessert my girls were so excited to have the maple tart and the goat cheese brownie. The kids were so happy with the desserts, that when we made a second trip there on our vacation, they had to order them again!Ryan our server was very attentive and proactive when it came to our needs. She was also very patient as we had five children, age 12 to 2.We can’t wait to make it a regular family stop every year when we are in Vermont!

Very disappointed in the crab pasta dish! Extremely small portion, undercooked pasta and did not have even a hint of crab flavor!

One of the best dining experiences I've had in quite some time. The food was excellent and our server Lynn was exceptional.Kid-friendliness: We had four children with us and Lynn treated them like they were very special guests

Excellent food and service. Chef Chelsea and Chef Tom have created a masterful culinary experience. Our server, Lynn, was excellent, patient, connected with our 9 year old daughter and made a truly memorable experience for her and us. This is our new spot!

Spectacular food and friendly service. We were there midweek and early (5:30). By 5:45 the noise level reached pain point - think ac/dc concert levels. The waitress apologized for having to ask multiple times what we wanted and my wife and I couldn't hear each other from across the table. I understand the need to maximize profits by putting as many tables as possible together but the result is an environment that is unusable. For me this is a do not repeat:-(

Very disappointed with the noise level - several tables full of loud inebrieated patrons made our conversations near impossible and unpleasant, exhausted by the end of our meal. If we ever go back it would be to a room not near the bar. The food was acceptable but not great. I had mussels and chorizo, which was basically mussels in a broth with ground beef - supposed to be chorizo but no kick at all, and certainly not Spanish chorizo. Other party members felt their food was OK. I was disappointed by the menu choices, maybe the time of the year, but no poultry, and seafood that was not locally sourced…blue crab!?!? The one bright spot was our server who was excellent, did a good job with orders, kept the flow going well, and was appropriately positive without being cloying. I felt the promise of farm to table and cooking excellence was not met.

Service was good, drinks were great. The food was fairly priced for the portion sizes. I was unimpressed with the quality of the food - my fiancé and I both thought that it tasted as though everything had been cooked in advance and then microwaved before being brought to our table. We had the cannoli for dessert. It tasted great, but the texture of the filling was a bit grainy, which was unfortunate. Also, this might be a bit nitpicky, but I was surprised that there wasn't anywhere to hang our coats - I feel that in Vermont, it's important to have a place available for this so you're not wadding your coat up on your lap while you're eating. Overall, we had a good time, but will probably not go again.Parking: The parking lot felt full for how many people were actually in the restaurant. It was snowing when we went, and though it was clear the lot had been plowed within the last few days, it could have done with some additional shoveling.

Such an unusual spot; little building off the highway by itself. Atmosphere was fab, cozy, lively, rustic cabin vibes. Drinks were good and service was attentive and knowledgeable. I'll be coming back to try again as maybe I just got an off night (valentine's) and my food was hit or miss. Husband loved his duck and we enjoyed the lemon and pistachio dessert. But my French onion soup was not great (cheese kinda hard and not melted well and I didn't like the flavor of the broth/onions) and the cioppino was okay; I've had more flavorful. (You don't see a lot of cioppino in Vermont so it's great that it's offered here) If this was a pub I would've said great, but I was expecting more. I would recommend it for a nice night and we will be coming back to try again for sure.

We had a great experience getting appetizers at the bar as walk-ins. The cocktails were creative and there was a good selection of seasonal appetizers. Service was prompt, friendly and professional. The environment, same as the prior establishment is cozy and bright. I’m so grateful to have another great restaurant in our area!

Small menu which is fine but they all better be cooked well. My $28 pork chop was cooked to a sawdust consistency. Tables were so close together that I was legitimately sitting side to side with the table behind me.

A great addition to the Vermont dining scene! Vermont Fine fills a rare niche in VT that isn’t readily available outside of communities like Stowe and Manchester - upscale, but not expensive to the degree of Hen of the Wood, etc. We started with two really excellent craft cocktails, two excellent main courses (the cioppino and Vermont Craft veggie lburger) and an extraordinary dessert (Ferraro Rocher mousse bomb) for about $100. The ambiance is pleasant (an old Vermont farmhouse wcozy nooks), the service was excellent (our waiter Ashley was really attentive and engaging), and the chef clearly is a cut above. The cioppino broth was sublime - good enough that you want to sop up every last bit with the crusty fresh bread served with the dish. The also feature products from many Vermont farms in true farm-to-table fashion, including the incredible beef from La Platte River Farms in Shelburne (if you haven’t had it, just do it)
