You must come on a Wednesday for some locally made donuts and a maple latte!
We live in SoRo and LOVE First Branch! We call it our fancy coffee special! we usually hit it Wednesday because...DONUTS TOO! Today I took my toddler and we got the OG Orange Juice, it's literally amazing. And then we got the Lemon Beauty, Chocolate Donut, and the Brunch donut. All amazing (lemon beauty is a FAV of mine) but the brunch donut was seriously amazing! My 12yo was mad I only got 1 to split! it's like all the things you love about an everything bagel in a donut.

Their coffee is top notch, food is delicious, friendly staff in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. What's not to love about a place that offers coffee in the am, and beer at night? Genius...

First Branch Coffee is a charming spot for coffee and tea lovers. They offer a variety of flavors, including a delicious matcha latte with cardamom, and some of the best cups of maple latte in Vermont. Their breakfast sandwiches, available on Thursdays, are a highlight, featuring warm, buttery biscuits with perfectly paired cheese, egg, and bacon. The coffee is excellent, with medium roasts and lattes made to perfection, including solid drip and good cappuccino. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with friendly and sweet baristas providing great service. Customers enjoy the warm vibe, reasonable prices, and clean, nice decor. There are also delicious pastries available for here or to go, including gluten-free cookies and vegan lemon pistachio cake. With plenty of parking outside, First Branch Coffee is a lovely local business worth visiting whenever near Royalton or South Royalton.
