My wife and I decided to go to Nellys Pub & Grill on February 14th, 2024, aka Valetines Day!! It's not very welcoming because the employees in FOH position seemed to be busy chatting up BOH employees "a cook in this case", but we had fun on our own. It's pretty bad when me as a customer is calling over to Drakes to order food for pick up.
I've now been here twice. The first time was during the day, and my husband and I sat at the bar and got beer and snacks. That time was lovely! The second time we went, however, was on a Friday night and we sat at a table. The drinks and food were fine, but the waitress added an extra round to our tab. When we told her, she said "Oh I thought I brought you a second round" which we found a little suspicious since we were only there for about 40 minutes and never ordered a second...read full review

In had a great visit. Many reviews seem to focus on the food. I tend to pay more attention to the ambiance. Nelly’s is the best neighborhood bar I’ve been to. Lots of patrons.
