Serves its purpose perfectly. Great stop for lunch and/or a beer. We were there in the winter, so we didn't get to enjoy the terrace but it looked pretty sharp!

What a hidden gem! I’m not even a beer drinker per se, but I stumbled upon this place and was blown away with the quality! I had a rice bowl which was over the top delicious with plenty to save half. While I’m not a beer lover, theirs was exceptionally good and the service was spot on. Highly recommend! There was a lovely art show with portraits of people of color on the topic of inclusion.

My sister and her husband brought me there for lunch. SO GOOD! I had the Japanese curry with chicken rice bowl that hit the spot!! Beer selection is on pointe as well. Will definitely be back.

Definitely worth a stop! A fun mix of unique (but not gimmicky) styles of beer that you don’t find elsewhere. Chill atmosphere to hang out with excellent service.

I had a really excellent and welcoming first experience at Whirligig. I’m excited to go back, and I would recommend it to anyone! I had Japanese curry with tofu which was excellent, washed down with two different pale ales. The employees made me feel at home, and offered great tips to the area. Definitely stop here whether or not you love beer!

Stellar beer & food!!

The rice bowls were so yummy. They were super accommodating with a lightly toasted grilled cheese for my 6 year old. The beer is fantastic and the service exceeded any experience I’ve ever had in a brewery. The games were also a huge hit with my kids. Very well done Geoff! We will for sure be back

We stopped by the brewery on our way up to Quebec City and had an amazing lunch at Whirligig. The food was amazing, the best lunch we’ve had in long time. The flavor profiles were complex and unique. The owner Jeff was such a pleasure to speak with as well. If we are ever in the area again, we will be back!

I genuinely believe Geoff and Max brew the best beer in VT. I think about the food very often when I’m not there-it never leaves me hungry, but always wanting more. Truly a gift of an establishment and to me, it signifies the soul of St. J.
