“I'm from New York so I'm pretty familiar with decent pizza. Went with some friends tonight for the first time. We ordered the 18-in pizza with half pepperoni and all mushrooms. Absolutely delicious! The sauce, the crust, the toppings. The cheese. Can't say enough. Good things about it. I will be going back again. Service was great as well. People were very friendly. Three of us ate and there was plenty for us for $36, including the tip.. You must try this place!“

“I had a lovely dinner with my colleague at Ramunto’s Pizza and I have to say it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal. The service was absolutely fabulous and our server truly stood out. As you can see in the attached photo, she was wonderful. She was attentive, friendly, and brought our pizza out as soon as it was ready. She was very expeditious without making us feel rushed. And the pizza itself? Delicious! Everything was fresh and flavorful. I would highly recommend Ramunto’s Pizza to anyone looking for a great meal with even better service. We will definitely be back!“

“Best Grinders in the world, and I’ve been around at 92. Recently changed hands, better telephone service. Lived nearby for 11 years, now many hours away, but worth the trip, especially after a day of traveling home to take a well wrapped large Italian hot grinder out of the cooler and feast. Stays fresh and tasty.“

“We have been twice so far and plan to go back when we visit Castleton again. The food and beer is amazing. They also have the best staff. We even brought the dog last time we went and they gave her a nice cold bowl of water and a pup cup. I highly recommend eating here.“

“I've bounced around to different pizza places in Rutland, but Ted's is the best now. I took home the chicken bacon ranch pizza and it is the best I've ever tasted, garlic crust and homemade ranch and chicken cutlets on it. The prices are very reasonable.“

“I love dominoes pizza and breads. Philly cheese steak is my favorite with stuffed crust, amazing flavor a must try. Was hoping to dine in and there isn't any tables for it. Service was friendly enough nothing good or bad to say about it, maybe could of went out of the way to reach that 5 star service.“
“We came here in the evening after not preparing adequately to get a reservation for a party of 9…. They were SO accommodating. Sergio, our server, was amazing and super attentive. The food was delicious (especially the siracha bourbon chicken wings, imo) and we had a great experience. Highly recommend!“

“Cara Mia's for the win! Got a pizza delivered and there was an incident that involved my 3 yr old slamming the door on the pizza guy and me dropping a pizza. 🤦🏼♂️ They called back and sent another Pizza. ❤️🍕 As a business owner, I appreciate this kind of gesture immensely. 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“We ordered 25 pizzas for a work party. They were ready for pick up on time, and the price was very reasonable. The only issue was an employee running her mouth about a local business in the kitchen area loud enough to be heard by customers.“

If you’re looking for authentic food, authentic people, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere, this is it. The Rustic Rooster is easily one of my top spots in Vermont — a true local secret that’s worth discovering.“
