“My wife and I stumbled along going to different pubs in Chittenden county VT. and found an absolute GEM of a place in Essex Jct., VT. That joint is known as Park Place , Best wings ever, Best Chili ever and other amazing food , all at reasonable prices. An amazing staff, Chelsea, Mike, Gage, Heather ,Alyssa ,Jason . Travis It reminds me and my wife of the show “Cheers” All the patrons are extremely friendly. To us, it’s like part of our family.. If you want an absolutely great “eating out “experience, and somewhere you can be yourself, come to Park Place, Again, we’ve tried many over joints but this place, by far , is the best place ever…. “We love the Essex and come here every time we travel to VT. The staff are responsive and friendly, the rooms are clean, cozy, and comfy. The one warning we would give is to say that the price that you book for is nowhere near what you get charged for at checkout. There are extra add on charges on the bill that “tax” your imagination. Just be sure to ask up front.“

“Well, the service wasn't great , our waiter , didn't ask how we wanted our burger cooked , didn't get our appetizer until our main meal was served, the alcohol helped smooth it over tho . I would recommend making sure to communicate with the staff about how they want there food cooked if they want there appetizer with the meal or before the food was as always amazing. Great job cooking staff and bartender you did your parts well :-)“
