The Lazy Goat Tavern Reviews
Pay to reserve a culinary king suite and get put in the lowest quality room in the entire place all because an employee can't read what's on the computer screen. Holes in the duvet, ragged towels, obnoxiously loud heater, and scummy feeling showers in the spa. 10/10 would not recommend staying here. Go for the restaurant no doubt but the resort isn't worth it.
We love the Essex and come here every time we travel to VT. The staff are responsive and friendly, the rooms are clean, cozy, and comfy. The one warning we would give is to say that the price that you book for is nowhere near what you get charged for at checkout. There are extra add on charges on the bill that “tax” your imagination. Just be sure to ask up front.
they fire me for having a disability Jamie and Erica is so lazy they sit around the office for 8 hours the spa too much money

The Lazy Goat Tavern is a great place hidden away in a building that doesn't have a sign. It is a beautiful spot with attentive and genuinely nice staff. The food is spot on and served quickly, making for a fantastic experience. The inside is simple but very nice. Guests enjoyed the Chowdah and the Cesar salad, both looking amazing and tasting great. Poutine night was a hit, with delicious poutine and loved all the options; staff quickly rectified a mistake with topping selections while apologizing repeatedly. A family dinner in the private room was an amazing experience from arrival to departure. Brunch has never disappointed, with stellar food and incredibly friendly staff. However, note that the turkey burger was taken away from Wednesday’s Smash Burger night.
