“The Tavern never fails to disappoint, the Tavern is a awesome place with amazing staff that are always willing, welcoming, friendly, provide the best service. The place is very nice no matter if you’re staying at the resort or not. It never ever disappoints. I wish the stake tips would be more frequent (says my friend ?). This is an amazing place the Tavern is awesome with a bar and lots more. Including the fact that booking off Resy is a game changer.In conclusion, the Tavern in Essex is an awesome place it is amazing it is a must do!!!Signed,Parker?Parking: There is additional parking in the back but due to the resort it is mostly filled. “First Yelp review I've written, and it is the easiest five stars I could ever give. I got a turkey BLT with a side of onion rings, and it was HUGE, delicious, and the Korean BBQ sauce I got with it was IMMACULATE. Second, all the workers were SO nice, they got it done fast, and chatted with me throughout the process. A very welcoming, cozy environment where you feel right at home, but here's the kicker: I'm not sure what the name of the program is, something close to suppers for neighbors or along those lines, but they offer the ability to donate to a fund, which allows for people to come in and order food if they are in need and cannot pay, and the fund pays for it. Absolutely marvelous, 100/10, will absolutely be returning and you should definitely try it out“

“The first time I had eaten there, and when we first showed up, we were told to wait until after 8pm to order food because they were a bit overwhelmed. We really wanted to eat before then, but since we were staying for karaoke, we went with it. I go back up at 8:15 to order some food, and the lady behind the bar gave me this exasperated look and told me they just shut off the fryers. I told her that wasn't my problem because she told me to come back after 8. She held up her end and turned the fryers back on, and made our food. I guess I'm not going to eat there anymore. Love the weekly karaoke, and love the drinks though. It's a nice looking bar.“

“Opening at 7:00pm each evening the Light Club Lamp Shop offers its patrons a rare experience. A living room concert in a truly unique space. Live music fills the shop where delightful cocktails and tasty "mock" tails are crafted with care. Food is available to sate your appetite and yes, the lamps are for sale.“

“My wife and stopped in for a beer. We are from Oklahoma. They have locally made drafts. My wife had the Mexican Lager and I had the American. Both very good.We tried the chili and the clam chowder. Never thought to put sour cream on chili. It was surprisingly delicious. The clam chowder was tasty. For me, I would of cut the potatoes a little smaller. That goes back to my Momma saying, "You know if I love you or am mad at you by the size of your vegetables." The service was very good. We would definitely stop in again. Probably later today after the museum.“

If you are a vegan, there's not many options on the menu, but there's an impossible burger which is pretty tasty! No table service but it's easy to order at the bar!“

“We threw a surprise 30th birthday party here. Anita helped us plan the whole thing, she was available for any question we had and had great suggestions along the way. Lilly was our waitress and killed it with service! Very quick and always with a smile. And of course great music! Definitely would recommend planning a party here.“
