A super breakfast, lunch or coffee stop! Great selection of breakfast and lunch items! I had the Curried Chicken Salad on a grinder roll and it was delicious! And their cappuccino's and baked goods are wonderful too! My favorite is the Mint Chocolate Chip Cookie! Charming atmosphere, friendly staff and interesting artwork by local artists for sale.

I'm here right now, eating a sesame bagel with bacon/scallion cream cheese. Stopped on my way thru from New York to Burlington. People are awesome, lots of smiles. Fast service. Bagels are great. Place is well organized. Cute baby at the next table. Great way to start my day!

Visiting here from PA and NJ and stopped at Wally’s for breakfast. It was absolutely fantastic! The sandwiches and quiche were so fresh and delicious and even the coffee was great. The atmosphere was really relaxing and inviting and the staff were just so pleasant and friendly. Great decision going here and we’d recommend it for everyone.

Our visit to Wally’s Place took an unexpected but delicious turn. We stopped for coffees, but after smelling the food, my partner decided to order the steak bagel. I said I didn’t want anything; we’d already had a light breakfast, after all.

While I picked out some day-old bagels (six for $3; a steal!), my partner got his food. One bite in, and he’s offering me a taste. I don’t know if it was the mustard, the steak, or the bagel itself, but after that first bite, I knew I needed my own. I ordered the same thing, and it was just as delicious.

Oh, and the coffee was phenomenal. If you’re in the area, don’t miss Wally’s Place!

At first glance, everything looks great—well-displayed, nicely set up, and the food looks appetizing. Upon closer observation, I noticed staff wiping their faces and mouths and coughing into their hands. When I brought this to the manager’s attention, their response was disappointing. They stated that they can’t get staff to stop these habits and dismissed it by saying they use tongs to handle the food, so it doesn’t matter. This lack of hygiene and concern for customer feedback is unacceptable and made me question the cleanliness of the establishment overall.

Wally’s is clean friendly and has the best bagels, and breads! The English muffins are the biggest I have ever seen and make awesome burger buns!

Edit: they've botched my order 3 out of the last 6 times I've gone. I go every week, and get the same thing. This week i called and asked if there was a way I could help get my order right. The response: you should order correctly. Poor showing, service, and response.

Look, I get that there are better sandwiches places in the world. I've eaten at some. But context is everything, and on this island, Wally's is king.

First of all, the food is good and sometimes locally sourced, which I enjoy. They bake some damned good baguettes, too. The staff is extraordinarily friendly, in that way that islanders can be, even in the frozen north. The space is perfectly suited, you can sit down and eat with your two kids and expect them to have books and toys to play with on site, or you can hide in the corner and get some alone time with a window. The prices are right, even surprisingly low considering the quality. I wish they had more drink variation, but then again, I'm often happy with water.

The most remarkable thing? They never botch my order, and they're the most consistent place I've eaten at in a wide radius.

Bottom line: its a best buy sort of place. If you can find a better deal for quality food in the area, I'll buy you a sandwich myself.
