Great course! Staff was wonderfully helpful signing in and on the phone prior to arrival. Greens roll very true, fairways and rough is nicely kept up and the views were incredible! Would have been helpful to have a 150 stake or some yardages painted onto the sprinkler heads.
Just OK. If you don't have a yardage app on your phone, your guess is as good as mine. Irritating to hit a good shot that sails over the flag or drops short because there are no yardge markers AT ALL on the course! How about at least a basic white post 150 yards from the center of each green? Other than that, it's just an OK course with lots of hills and dog-legs.

The St Johnsbury Country Club offers a challenging and beautiful golf course, though its condition has been inconsistent. The course has "good bones" and a great layout, with stunning views, but has faced issues with overgrown greens, weeds in the tee boxes, and hard sand traps. The upkeep and maintenance of the course have been subpar at times, with dead spots on the greens and fairways. However, recent improvements have been noted, with the tee boxes and greens in much better shape during a recent visit. The course can be difficult to walk due to its hilly and long nature, and the lack of water refill stations on the back 9 can be an issue. Despite these challenges, the course has the potential to be a "gem" if the conditioning can be consistently maintained. The food at the club has also been praised.
