This place was a great find! My husband and I were heading north for a long weekend, and we needed to stop for lunch. So glad we found Wandering Vine on the map! The food was excellent - we had the empanadas, the split pea and lentil soup, and the chili. Sarah was incredibly warm and the made the experience so lovely. A must when we go back to Vermont!
P.S. Sarah, the taste of the empanadas is still in my memory... Thank you!

We learned about the Wandering Vine through the Discover St Johnsbury website and decided to have lunch there when spending a day in town to explore the knob, the Athenaeum, etc, and so much enjoyed it: Chef Sarah puts together plates with delicious food - atmosphere is peaceful, quiet, even if all six or so tables are occupied by families or friends who enjoy a meal together - prices are very moderate too - Hope they will stay in business, possibly expand a little, as we would definitely go there when in town again!

Great food and a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommended.
I ate at the Wandering Vine when I visited my daughter. I ordered the corn chowder and was more than pleased. It was a great mix of fresh ingredients made to order. This is a must visit eatery when you are in St Johnsbury VT.
Such good food! The Korean Inspired Noodles are a new road trip favorite for my family! We stop every time we’re in town.
Amazing quality food for a great price. Everything on the menu is delicious, can’t recommend this place enough!

Terrific veggie korma with friendly staff and safe outdoor dining experience - chef table side was wonderful. Great pairing with Whirligig (Lori says try the korma with their sour cherries sour ale). Happy to find this space in St Johnsbury today!
Fresh, delicious, and beautiful food that pairs wonderfully with the craft beers of Whirligig Brewing and wines of Fable Farm! Looking forward to expanded hours, including brunch!
