“We came to the Matterhorn after skiing today. I've been wanting to go there for months because I had seen pictures of the wonderful Riverview from the windows and we were lucky enough to get there early and get a seat by the window. When my friends asked for hot tea, the waitress informed us that they do not carry any hot drinks. We are not " that kind of place" . We don't serve coffee and tea. We serve alcohol was the sentiment. We did not want to order alcohol but we did order full dinners and an appetizer. The brussel sprouts were amazing! Our server brought us hot water with lime which was delicious! The food was good and we enjoyed our table by the river and fireplace. When we were ready to pay, we were told that they could not split the bill among two separate credit cards. Since when does a restaurant not split the bill up anymore? Doesn't everyone do that these days? I found this disappointing. Now, I owe my friend money the next time I see him. All in all, it was a good experience with a few disappointments but I would, definitely, go back.“
“All depends on what you're looking for! For lunch, this place was amazing ? we totally enjoyed being right on top of a putting green and having a beautiful view of the mountains. No extra bells and whistles, but none needed. The friendliness of the service was amazing and the food fantastic!“
“Moog's Place was able to accommodate our large table of 8 on a whim during a very busy holiday week. Our waitress was great. The food and beer selection were both sophisticated and casual. High quality food all around. It was also 'live mike' night which made for a fun atmosphere. Would definitely return next time we're in town to ski.“
