Located by the Mansfield gondola at Stowe, Miso toh Kome | Japanese is a little rice ball spot at the slope. The food is fantastic and the service is impeccable. Freshly made onigiri on location really hits the spot on a cold ski day. The rice balls are filling, fairly large, and the best food ever had on any slopes. The unagi eel has a smoky flavor, and the spicy tuna is good and surprisingly actually sort of spicy. The miso is like drinking ramen broth. Everything is delicious. Though a bit overpriced at $9+, it is better quality food than the stuff in the lodge. They have canned Japanese green tea, milk tea, and coffee kept hot, plus hi-chews and pocari sweat. Overall, stop here for a quick bite when skiing.
