We have been lucky enough to dine in the tavern two years in a row during trips to Stowe, and it’s always a highlight. The food is outstanding, and the cocktails are unique and delicious. The best part is definitely the ambiance - small and cozy, warm and lovely. The service is always fantastic. Highly recommend!

We ate at the Tavern and experienced the Monday and Sunday menus... loved it all! The ambiance downstairs is beautiful, warm and cozy. Highly recommend this place.

Amazing experience all around! We ate in the Tavern room downstairs which has the coolest, warm and cozy atmosphere. Our waitress Ari was so helpful in giving descriptions of all of the drinks and food dishes, I tried the Clarity drink which was so unique and delicious. The appetizers and meals were all amazing, with so many different flavors developed in each component, and the presentation is so special you almost don't want to eat it. This was our first time dining here and we can't wait to bring back the entire family next time! As an added bonus, the entire Inn and grounds are beautiful and we will look into staying on-site in the future!

Absolutely delicious -- but the best part is the setting, the service, and the personal touch. Just like spending an evening at an amazing house of your best friends from Vermont; The most unique, local, homey and fresh experience one can hope for in Stowe area and a perfect way to unwind and have a great conversation (over a great wine list!) after a day on the slopes. Highly recommend!

Food is mediocre at best. Almost tasteless. Not worth the high prices. Better places in Stowe.

Overall a pleasant experience and lovely ambience. We celebrated my husband’s birthday dinner here and it wasn’t spectacular. My husband enjoyed the roasted cauliflower though and the pork and scallops. I’m not sure I’d come back though. Nothing special and I think overpriced for the entrees(lobster Mac and cheese (too much breadcrumbs); my son’s burger was very good; and steak frites had too much going on with blue cheese butter/onion tangy sauce and not as tender as we usually like . We had the flourless chocolate cake and there were two tiny bites. Save the trip!

We had a wonderful experience! We actually transitioned down to the tavern because it felt more suitable for dinner with our 6 month old daughter. Everything was fantastic! The bartender was kind, accommodating, and made an awesome manhattan. The food was delicious, I had the swordfish and my husband had the steak frites. It’s always our favorite place to eat in Stowe. We look forward to returning next year!Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating!

Not fine dining. The cost/value ratio was shocking! Cork and Plate are better restaurant options in the area. I will happily pay $50 for an entrée if the chef knows what they are doing and they use only the best ingredients. That was not the case here. Service was still excellent and the cheese board was fun.

So so so fabulous! This place is very Michelin star reminiscent. A must when in town! I recommend any dish on the menu. Service was on point and all was lovely.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Edson Hill, and we must say it was a truly remarkable experience. When we stepped into the hotel, we were greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere and a beautiful landscape, unlike any other hotel. The unique environment of Edson Hill truly sets it apart from its competitors. One of the things that stood out to us was the great amenities offered at this hotel. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, providing a sense of luxury. We enjoyed sampling a few selections from their menu and were delighted by the attention to detail, flavors, and presentation. Each dish was a true masterpiece, showcasing the chef's creativity and culinary skills.Parking: The parking are less than 100 feet from the rooms.

Outstanding food! Got the local cheese board and the Old Cherri whisky cocktail they had on special and well and was delicious.American wagyu was cooked perfectly and paired well. She got the duck and never ate dark meat before and couldn’t get enough.Topped off with great dessert. Peaches and cream, along with a lemon and cake crouton dish that was very good as well.Whole atmosphere is warm and soothing. Great view of sunset over the mountains with fire and were even offered blankets as it was a tiddly-bit chilly.Price is on the higher side, not my regular eat out kinda price range to have 3 courses. But for a special occasion is definitely recommended, and will return!

Edson Hill is the absolute best place to eat in Stowe! Nothing compares. The staff are amazing, the food is the best I have ever had, and the space is perfection. The attention to detail takes this place to the next level. The views are breathtaking and the property is stunning. I could go on and on. This place is special and will capture your heart. It certainly has captured mine. I can't recommend this place enough. Truly the best for food, service, and atmosphere.Dietary restrictions: I am gluten-free and they were very accommodating and have many options.

Between our amazing waitress, Margo, the amazing view, the Michelin level food (the maple smoked trout and truffle tagliatelle), this is a must visit restaurant. Easily the best restaurant in the Stow/Burlington region. This is a truly special place.
