Phenomenal breakfast at a very charming environment

Amazing tradional ski lodge for breakfast and lunch. Its counter service which I love for an early casual meal. My fiancee had the vermonter and I had a cornbeef reuben it was the perfect meal for a busy day. The firepit right in the center is so cool felt like we went back in time. My parents eloped in the area over 30yrs ago and the afternoon after I ate there I was lucky enough to propose to my forever person. It felt like a place they would of ate in all those years ago so it had a sentimental feeling for me. The staff have sense of humors and kindness that made us feel like locals. Food and the cappuccinos were 10/10

We didn’t stay here. We had breakfast and it was amazing. Food was fantastic. From the pancakes, French toast and eggs. Throw on top excellent friendly staff and we will be back. Note that you order when you walk in and then they bring the food to you at the tables.

The service here is dog water. We ordered 3 bacon eggs and cheeses and we waited 25 mins and the order never got put in. Very unhappy with this place and with the communication of the workers.

Do not recommend Went in ordered three breakfast sandwiches waited 35 min and the order was never even put in -10/10 do not recommend

I love this place!! Grabbed breakfast takeout every morning before I hit the slope.

Maple syrup is amazing. My husband is a big fan of the blueberry pancake.

Stopped into this little gem for lunch during a ski trip to Vermont. Awesome customer service by all workers! Had the omelet and home made English Muffin and fruit which was delicious!! Baked goods were great as well!

Popped in for breakfast. Good bkfst sandw6, but the potatos were barky warm and rubbery. I think they were day-old. But it's a fun room and welcoming. I'd give it another chance.

While staying nearby, we had a group of 4 looking for a late brunch. Our first options did not accept folks without a reservation. We stumbled across Round Hearth Cafe after just driving around. WHAT A FIND! This place is so unique. Absolutely 1 of 1. The food was fantastic. Breakfast basics, cooked to perfection. The breakfast potatoes and pancakes were delicious. The atmosphere was just so cool, it feels like a perfect representation of “Old Vermont”. I almost forgot to mention the true live fire in the middle of the dining room! I can’t wait to come back. I’ll recommend to anyone.

We went for lunch on a Sunday before our 5 hour drive home and it was a perfect place. Everything we had was so yummy. The decor is adorable and felt like I was apart of history and a big family. The staff was so nice and lovely. The coffee was the best coffee we have had in awhile eating out. We got a bag for home. We wished we had gone sooner so we could go more times over the weekend. This is definitely a return place for us next year.
