We enjoyed a delicious lunch outside in t-shirts in the middle of October in VT. What could be better?! Everyone behind the counter and in the kitchen work very hard and we appreciate you all! My BLT and her Vermonter were delicious. Hope to visit again soon.

Not trying to be dramatic but absolutely the best tomato soup I’ve ever had. Also—the vibe here is unmatched

Cozy atmosphere and delicious food, and free refills on coffee, what else do you need??

Great food for lunch or dinner plus walls and rooms are filled with articles and antiques for sale. You can even buy the chair you are sitting in.

Went in for a cup of tea and we LOVED the warm atmosphere of a log burning fireplace that made the whole place cozy and smell awesome! The chai tea was delicious with maple syrup! Thanks for letting us sit and relax while taking in the local vibe!!

Very very very slow service. Waited an hour for the food to come up and the space is not even packed.

Very busy, very warm, slow service, but good coffee.

Expectations/reviews did not align with our experience here unfortunately… it took an hour from arrival to sit down with a sub par meal after standing in line to order with 10-15 people in front of us. The apple fritter and my quiche were lukewarm + the quiche inside was flat & falling apart. Not really flavorful. The “side of fruit” is actually two little pieces of melon + 1-2 strawberries. Tipping is encouraged but you order at a counter, wait and pick up the food yourself, and bus your own table… the coffee, water station, station to return dishes, and bathrooms are all within a 4ft radius so kind of a cluster. The ambience here is fun and unique! But otherwise I don’t think someone could convince us to go back.

If you’re visiting Stowe, it’s definitely a must stop. I’m from Texas and it feel like a little piece of Texas here in Vermont.

I wish I would have taken a picture of our food but we were so hungry.

When we come back this is definitely on our list.

The only thing that confused me that we buss our own table.

Side note: make sure to check out the Christmas Store at the back of the restaurant. They even play Christmas music the entire time.

OMG so good. We had lunch here and were pleasantly surprised with just how huge and delicious the sandwiches were. We had Pastrami and Cabot grilled cheese - oh and pick the side salad with their amazing maple walnut dressing. The prices were so reasonable as well! You can sit inside or out and play some trivia while your food is freshly prepared.

The cutest spot for brunch. Eclectic decor, amazing staff (family owned) and delicious food! Had to go back a second day on our trip! The firepit and outdoor space gave lots of options for seating.
