The WhistlePig Pavilion is a cozy spot perfect for lunch or après-ski hangouts, especially during the summer. The Raclette nachos remain a standout dish, and the Chopped Chicken Thigh sandwich is a must-try, especially when paired with either NC Vinegar or the Comeback sauce. The BBQ chips are made fresh daily and are truly addictive. Hot cider with cinnamon is a great choice on cold days, but the food options can be limited. The staff is friendly and attentive, providing good overall service. While the humus platter and steak are still must-tries, the pretzel has been noted as too salty at times. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, centered around a fireplace that adds to the charm, and the seating is community-style, which means sharing tables with other families during busy times. Although the drink options are limited to beer and whiskey, free whiskey shots and dessert are a pleasant surprise. Reservations are recommended for busy times, but the experience, with beautiful views and live music, is worth it.
