Prost! 5 stars for the von Trapp Brewery & Bierhall! I had such a lovely time at lunch here! We were thankful to be seated by the large windows overlooking the beautiful outdoor setting. It's easy to picture yourself in Austria for a moment while enjoying their delicious German food! The von Trapp grandchildren were even seated at the table next to us! I was there on a Thursday night, great atmosphere! The bar was busy and I got to sit next to these huge windows and look out at the snow and mountains while I had a drink and dinner. The helles beer is very good! I even got a 6 pack to bring home. I will definitely go here again when I am back in Stowe

The Bierhall is a good place to go for dinner. The food is pretty good and the experience continues on the Austria in Vermont feel you get with von Trapp. This place is also very busy, it was super noisy and the service was a little slow at times. The dessert was really good! Prices here are middle to high range for dinner, but that’s as expected in this area. I would recommend trying it out if you’re thinking about it, just make sure to get a reservation!!
