“I'd passed by several days this week, and decided tonight was time to show support for Vergennes' newest restaurant. I'm incredibly glad I did. The Curry Goat with Rice&Beans and Cabbage did not disappoint! I know the Jerk Chicken would have been just as great. I'm in town every few months, and I'll be returning to Castel's for sure. “Quaint and comfortable, small town eatery with super professional and friendly staff and delicious, although limited, menu. Doesn't matter though...the ambiance and quality totally make up for it. The plate presentation is culinary grade and the flavors are devine but a little pricey for the portions, but all is forgiven for the tough times and raising costs in Vermont. My steak was a poor cut, seeming some porter or strip and quite slot of gristle, but prepared as I asked.”

“I lived just up the road from 3 Squares for a few years. I went in for iced coffee nearly every day. No matter how busy it was, I was always greeted with a smile and felt like I was part of the 3 Squares family! Everyone was kind, the food was consistently great, and I can’t recommend this place enough! Miss yall, anytime I’m in town I’ll be back!!”

“The food was very good, it was all freshly prepared. In my opinion the food, in general was a little bit oily/greasy. The Crab Rangoon, were hands down the best in the region. The breading on the chicken fingers was a bit to thick. Same with the General Tso chicken. The flavor the freshness.... all there...just heavy breading.These are personal preferences not a bad report on the food. Grade A+ for the food. Nice dining room, very clean and bright.”

“Lunch and breakfast items are delicious! Try the variety of pizzas, calzones , quiches, desserts and cinnamon buns… all to die for! Everything is homemade, the owner is onsite, so friendly and welcoming/ an absolute gem! Be sure to add this as a stop if ever in upper state New York or want a quick ferry ride from Vermont. Worth a visit.”

“I did a wine tasting dinner at Lincoln Peak for a small group and it was fantastic. The winery is beautiful, and we were seated on a deck overlooking a pond and the vineyards, really a perfect setting. The wines were delicious, honestly I didn't think Vermont could produce great wine until I tasted these, our entire group was very impressed. Nichole, one of the owners, worked with me to arrange the event and was there to host us. She was great to work with, very helpful and responsive, and so knowledgable about the wines. Overall it was a fantastic event, and I'm looking forward to visiting Lincoln Peak again when I'm in the area.”

“OMG this is the best cider in the US. I frequent Ireland and absolutely love their ciders and beers, there’s unfortunately nothing like it in the us.
