“What a delightful little bakery and eatery in Vergennes, Vermont's first city! Everything was delicious and freshly baked (try the sourdough crescents, raspberry gateau and cardamom buns - divine!). Everyone was fabulous and friendly. We can't wait to return! Jeremy & Bryan”

“Quaint and comfortable, small town eatery with super professional and friendly staff and delicious, although limited, menu. Doesn't matter though...the ambiance and quality totally make up for it. The plate presentation is culinary grade and the flavors are devine but a little pricey for the portions, but all is forgiven for the tough times and raising costs in Vermont. My steak was a poor cut, seeming some porter or strip and quite slot of gristle, but prepared as I asked.”

“The food was very good, it was all freshly prepared. In my opinion the food, in general was a little bit oily/greasy. The Crab Rangoon, were hands down the best in the region. The breading on the chicken fingers was a bit to thick. Same with the General Tso chicken. The flavor the freshness.... all there...just heavy breading. These are personal preferences not a bad report on the food. Grade A+ for the food. Nice dining room, very clean and bright.”

“Park Squeeze is the definition of “fine.” Not great, not bad, just relentlessly, reliably mid—which, in Vergennes, is actually a selling point. The food is consistent, the prices won’t make you question your life choices, and if you need a quick, predictable bite without getting trapped in some hour-long ordeal, this is your spot.
Burger Night? Decent deal, though it used to be better—like everything else before the world decided mediocrity was acceptable. Still, for a low-moderate-priced meal, you could do worse (see: Rockers). The bar has a reasonable selection, nothing to write home about but nothing offensive either. Surprisingly of note is the bathroom—it’s clean, has a baby-changing station, and isn’t the kind of place that makes you feel like you need to wash your hands after washing your hands, unlike a lot of other places in town.
That said, the layout makes about as much sense as a Jackson Pollock painting. The dining area and bar are upstairs, up a set of narrow stairs that seem specifically designed to trip up anyone who’s had one too many drinks. Space is tight, so while it’s relatively family-friendly, it’s also intimate—which means if you end up next to some loud local who just got off their shift at the aerospace factory, congrats, you’re now a part of their therapy session.
Ultimately, Park Squeeze is what it is: the best spot in town for a quick, adequate meal that won’t break the bank or require a two-hour commitment. Just hope you don’t get seated next to someone looking to share their existential crisis over a Coors Light.”

“Unfortunately, due to low staffing, the drive-thru was the only option. Which was very busy! I did not end up ordering any food or beverages, as a result. Sad sign of the times.”
