Foord was excellent. Unfortunately I forgot to order a coffee after we sat down and paid and (despite being on the menu) I was told by the guy with long hair that they don't serve coffee. The only reason I can see them having an issue is that I have a card and card companies charge them per transaction. So they would rather refuse a sale than do the right thing, apparently.

I have lived in Waterbury for seven years right near the restaurant. I've had my share of ups and downs with the place and I have been reinforced in my decision to stop going. In earlier years (5-7~ years) ago, the food was decent. We would always have to order extra cheese to get the right amount on pizza but service and quality was pretty good. Sub 4 years ago, it seems to have really crumbled. Every time we order, something is wrong. The pizza is underdone, ingredients are missing, food is cold, or the phone service is rushed and unfriendly. I stopped going regularly and have placed maybe 1-2 orders each year since quality has stalled. Each time, I am reminded why I go into town to eat at the former Blue Stone, now Stone's Throw Pizza, even with this location being a less than 5 minute walk from my home. I'm completely understanding the "post pandemic" workforce has impacted many businesses, but this seems to be a consistent issue across multiple years at this point. Tonight's order was so close to being done, yet was missing the turkey on my meat salad ($3~ price difference from the mozzarella salad). I assume they pulled a pre-made from the fridge and just forgot? Not sure. I'm just over it at this point and will make the extra few minute trip into town for better quality and consistency.

Unable to speak to atmosphere as I had it delivered.I am pleasantly surprised by this place! I love that while being in a hotel I could order any pizza as an individual size so I didn’t need to worry about transporting or wasting leftovers, my friend and I could try two different styles and not be over full or break the bank, and it was warm and fresh!!Although they don’t post their deserts online they do offer them. Loved the uniqueness of the hot fudge cheesecake.

If you say you are open till 9 (which is already ridiculously early to close, especially on the weekend) then STAY OPEN TILL 9! I love the food, love the pizza and I live a couple houses down, yet three different days now I’ve called at 8 to order one pizza and have been told they can’t do it or they are closed, always an excuse. If the owner doesn’t know about this then they definitely needs to, and if they already know then maybe you have “reasons”, but there is no excuse for closing early every night without at least putting it on your page. Covid, inflation and proxy wars have made everything expensive so I’m empathetic to that, but come on, DO BETTER or shut down like the thousands of other restaurants. I’m dying for a large cheese and this is unacceptable period!

Online ordering system had no problem taking my money, but it's been en route for 2 hours and the restaurant is now showing closed. They also didn't answer the phone. If it wasn't open for the holiday you shouldn't be able to process an order and definitely shouldn't get updates saying your order in on its way. I waited thinking there was just a legitimate delay and now everything in the area is closed.
I was staying nearby on business and wanted something simple. The Mexican pizza sounded good, so I ordered a small. It is so good, I haven't even finished eating before I decided to write a review. Light, fresh, full of flavor! I am not disappointed. If I am ever back in the neighborhood, I'll gladly get this again!

Good pizza to grab and go with. Reminds me of the pizza i used to get at the roller rink in Northeast Philly, which i get the hankerin' for from time to time. Nostalgic, i guess.

Just really have one complaint and it's a common sense thing! When we order pepperoni pizza to go we get ranch dressing, well not sure why, but kinda doesn't make sense that they put ranch in box! Who likes hot salad dressing!! For anything!! Not sure if they just want to save money for small bags but really stupid. Need to change policy about putting salad dressing in a hot box!!
