“We had dinner at the last chair with one person in our party having celiacs disease. Our waiter Hunter was amazing !! He took the time to really understands the precautions necessary to keep the food allergen free. The restaurant also had a lot of gluten free options. The waiter was so kind and helped us make special exceptions in the kitchen so the food was completely celiacs safe. Hunter was awesome! He demonstrated an incredible amount of high level customer service, and a level of emotional intelligence that helped us feel really safe. Thanks Hunter!!“

“Brand new location for Starfire Bakery and 1A Coffee roasters together! Same fabulous pastries with a huge variety and inspiration from all over the world. Truly everything is exquisite and not like anything you will find even in most cities. They also have bakery classics as well, including freshly baked bread.
Coffee is great and roasted in house. So exciting to have the two businesses merged with tons of seating now. We’re extremely lucky to have all this in tiny Wilmington.“

“Have had birthday dinners for both of my parent's 90th birthdays at Alpenglow and it's been awesome. In June for my Mother's 90th we used their upstairs private room which made the occasion extra special. The food, service/ staff and atmosphere is great and I would highly recommend Alpenglow to anyone looking for a delicious meal in a great setting!“

“If you are, as I am, partial to flavorful thin crust pizza that does not have an excessive amount of cheese, this is the place for you. There are, as usual, plenty of options, but I tried plain, plain with mushrooms and pizza fungus and they were delicious. Not super dougy and generously sized. A moderate number of beers on tap. There are other items on the menu, but I haven't tried them. I expect that they too are well prepared. Lots of parking, plenty of room inside and outdoor seating with a spectacular view overlooking miles of rolling hills.
One caution - be careful of the turn in when approaching from the east. It comes up quickly and is very sharp.“
