Anchor Seafood Restaurant Reviews
Everything was fantastic, from app s to dessert, staff was very nice and attentive! My favorite up there!
Food was delish! Didn’t disappoint.
This is the second time we've been and have thoroughly enjoyed it! Mid-day, Wednesday. Sat at the bar. Very clean, excellent service by Diana and the fried seafood is the freshest we've had. So, so good! We had the fried scallops and fish with coleslaw and fries--everything came out fast, hot and was excellent! Highly recommend.

Anchor Seafood Restaurant offers excellent and quick service, with attentive staff. The food is delicious, including the French onion soup, clam chowder, and onion strings. The ambiance is cozy and friendly, popular among both locals and visitors. However, guests should be cautious of slippery floors near the side entrance. The chocolate cake is a must-try. The service at the bar is commendable.
The restaurant's warm and inviting atmosphere features a tasteful coastal theme. Guests are seated promptly, and the service is exceptional throughout the evening. The seafood dishes are fresh and flavorful, whether it's shellfish or a perfectly cooked fish entrée. The portions are generous, and the staff is friendly and helpful, making diners feel at home.
The clam chowder is hot, creamy, and bursting with flavor, while the whole-belly fried clams are crispy and not at all greasy. The fried scallops are also excellent. The restaurant's seafood offerings exceed expectations, even in this landlocked location, with the clam chowder and fried clams rivaling the best along the Connecticut shoreline.
