This spot hit differently this trip... it's as great, comforting and well executed food as always. This trip was just after the passing of my step-dad and it engulfed me in all the feels and as usual it was like coming home. And shockingly my carnivore boyfriend raved about the veggie omelet! Thanks for the memories.

The food was excellent but it took a painfully long time. It was lunch on Labor Day. I would come back but not on the weekend.
Really good experience for breakfast. HIGHLY recommend the homemade breads--especially the wheat with seeds!!! We were about to gravitate toward our usual rye choice but went with the homemades---best decision. Friendly. Great history behind the establishment. Highly recommend. Skillet (cajun) was really good and the scrambled eggs were also good. You can't go wrong.

Run like clockwork by the staff. Cute place. Great selection. Tasty food. There will be a wait on weekend mornings but you can laze around the street and look at the river.
