I've always heard of Dot's dinner, I'm sure most people in Vermont have. Still, I was pleasantly surprised but the great food, service, and atmosphere on a random Sunday morning after camping in the nearby national forest.I'm sure we were a sight wandering in after two nights in the woods, but it was one of the best breakfasts I've had recently.I highly recommend Dot's!

For the last 30 years I've enjoyed going to Dot's of Wilmington. Their meals are creative and they use fresh local produce. The staff is welcoming and each time you return they use your name makes you feel like you're home. I think their Meatloaf is out of this world. The Ambiance is warm and cozy lots of windows bring in the sunlight views of downtown and the water way. I like that dot's still has the original stools to sit up to the counter. I like the hardwood floors and wooden furniture. Keep up the strong work ethics.

The food was good, but the staff were frustrated and rude. We went on St. Patrick's Day and it was busy. I understand the stress, but the rudeness was over the top. The waitresses were barking/yelling at customers and our waitress slammed the meal on the table when we didn't tell her whose it was quickly enough. On our way out, a waitress said to my husband, "Can you f***ing take me with you?"

The food was amazing but the service was so welcoming and friendly.Try their omelettes or the chocolate chip pancakes.

Place was very busy on a Sunday morning. Stopped in for brunch w hubby. Waited about 15 minutes (expected longer). ordered onion soyp, chili, blackened chicken sandwich and grilled ham and cheese. All were very good, robust flavored and prepared with care. Couldn't leave without trying their cinnamon roll, to go, as we saw so many go by... and it was delicious! Highly recommend and we are definitely going back. Super friendly staff and homey Vermont atmosphere. Also overheard it's a frequent stop for Bernie Sanders.

Wow! This place is amazing!!! I ordered sausage and gravy and it was the best I have ever had. I grew up in the south and they do biscuits and gravy well there but nothing like this! Kids had the chocolate chip pancakes and they were also amazing. We are one happy family!!! Huge portions for the price!!!!Kid-friendliness: Loud and staff fun and many kid friendly food options.
